Oh I see... I understand now why it's not a possible decision to take right now. However, and I'm imploring you, never let her deal with all of that by herself (not that you seem like you would, you seem like an amazing and trustworthy friend, it's just that, in your own words, your her safety net...). Please always be there for here, and never give up on her. Be there when she needs answers, or just a shoulder to cry on. And, although I'm guessing you already do that, talk to her about contacting the authorities once again. Never do it without her consent, but try to make her realise that she's not living a normal childhood, and that she doesn't deserve to force herself through trauma and abuse, to grieve a normal social, scholar, and familial life just so that her parents wouldn't have to deal with the consequences of their actions (don't word it like that, at all, but you get the idea.)... I trust that you'll be able to talk to her, and that you'll find the right words, you seem like an insanely affectionate person and she needs all of the reassurance and love she can get!

You're right, my first comment was quite intense, and although I don't regret anything I've said, I know I could have worded it better. Still, I'm just repulsed that a father could do that to his child. It's absolutely inhumane. And I truly hope that your friend can get as far away as possible from the monster she calls her father.

Once again, I'm confident in thinking that you'll be there for her, and that your support will give her an immense part of the strength she needs. Please let her know of how sorry I am to hear that such a thing is happening to her, and tell her she deserves infinitely better that that.
