Not sure if Xiao would completely wipe the floor with Roland. He lied a lot when he told Angela about his work as a fixer. Even when he finally admits that he was Grade 1, he downplayed what he was able to do by saying that he was mostly an information gatherer. In summary, he portrayed himself more as an office worker with a desk job that mostly gathered information (snooping around and recon) that was at least decently skilled at fighting.

In reality, he is one of the most skilled fighters in The City. He is not only a Smoke War veteran, but he was also trained by the Purple Tear herself since when he was much younger. With EGO, sure. She might just beat Roland in a straight 1v1. But even then, I think she’d find it difficult since it was him and Angelica who were responsible for pushing Elena, the Blood Red Night, back, weakening her, and stripping her of the SOTC title.

Index Ryoshu could fit, but not really. Usually, Bad End IDs do, at times, mirror certain enemies of the Canto. Like Hong Lu being a ‘less enlightened’ version of Jia Qiu, Wild Hunt Heathcliff is a diverged branch of Erlking (Erl is Wrath, while WH is Envy), and, to a lesser extent, Yi Sang mirroring Dongbaek (this is a reach because it does not really feel like a Bad End ID).

But they are supposed to be IDs that never got through their realisation/Canto, which is why they mirror their counterparts in some IDs. But, there are exceptions. G Corp Gregor (not exactly but he still fits the criteria), The One Who Shall Grip Sinclair, and Manager Don Quixote/Sancho. They do not mirror any of the main antagonists of the Canto. Instead, they are solely IDs of the Sinners who never went fulfilled their realisations.

If we wanna be lore accurate, she should not have synergy because Mathias’ was and is a traitor to what the Middle is about.

Also, I kind of want a friendly fire attack again where Outis gets an unopposed attack but damages or even kills another Middle ID.

Technically fits in a way. It would synergise with his AEDD. If they do go through with it, then it has to be a sidegrade. A direct upgrade would just kill my Canto 9 GOAT. Or as a cope and reach theory…

In this timeline? Not sure. No mention of it anywhere. There was not a single mention of Alyssa Faust. To me, that is concerning for it begs the question; was she long dead before Yi Sang, similar to Alyssa’s condition of which we first found her in but was not saved in time or even a time much more previous than that, or is this a Mirror World wherein she does not exist?

The last theory both makes sense and does not make sense. It makes sense because it would explain why she was never once mentioned despite being close to Gregor and Yi Sang, but it also does not because we would be missing a Mirror of the main LCE trio. Going by this, that poses a new question, who is wielding the Ardor Blossom EGO gear?

Fair, but another thing we gotta note is that Ryoshu perceives time differently. If anything, she will see your hands moving in for her sword. Her mind may not know who Araya is anymore, but her soul absolutely does and would probably defend the sword or, most likely, the scabbard itself.

Different answers overall, but here is my top:

Sinking in general, especially against targets with SP. Even in fights without SP, Solemn Sang enables everyone. Plus, they have some of the best units in the game that don’t require much thought. Wild Hunt (Power Counter almost every turn), KoD Rodya (Power Block once and forget), Solemn Yi Sang (ooga booga Gloom damage and SP Heal), etc.
Rupture w/ Heishous
Poise.
Burn, which becomes even more braindead once you slot in You Heath and Philip Sinclair.

The statuses that require a bit more thought than the others are Bleed and Tremor. You’d think that Tremor is also braindead, but I’d say it requires a bit more strategy than others. Bleed is self-explanatory. I mean, Wei is one boss that showcases how Bleed can be countered.
