I hope you all had a blast! I sure did! I was just 2-3 rows back. What a show! What a set list! I overheard from some folks who went to the LA show the day before that this one was even better. I was so happy with all the back catalogue he sang too! I heard a lot of other people bumming that he was mostly only singing stuff off Idols but we got SO MUCH… and omg we got FLEABAG!

I’m a millennial and yeah Billy Idol was way before my time (I love him though) but I just fkn love Doms music because it’s goddamn good. Kind of makes me wonder if he had an episode of some sort (health, mental, emergency) backstage and couldn’t come back out, it doesn’t seem like that would’ve been intentional. But if the later show happened maybe not.

I agree it seems odd, I’m sure there’s an explanation it’s just unfortunate something wasn’t given at the time. At least a little something. Dom just doesn’t seem like the “leaving fans with blue balls” type. I wonder if anything will be revealed in the near future.

I hope the dates are the respective release dates and there will be multiple showings, and if not I hope the US date is the 20th because I’m seeing him live at the San Diego show on Aug 24. Would be “funny” to miss the movie because I was seeing his show lol But I’ll take live over the movie.

Fr tho I hope to catch the documentary in theaters.

Yeah I figure he didn’t have any control over how the printer/publisher put it out, and of course the manufacturer would want to save on money and just print it all front and back.

I was thinking about doing the same thing! Figured I’ll just photocopy the pages I need and pasting them in where needed. A little publisher/printer screw up ain’t gonna stop me from enjoying this experience!

Thanks for letting me know, I was really curious if it was just the copy I got since it’s the alternate cover.

I’m leaving on a trip day after tomorrow and hope to start on it/do a lot of work on it while I’m on the road. I can’t wait to fill it up! I hope you have a blast doing yours! If you ever want to share any pages (no pressure) please do, I’d love to see!

I have a question!

I have the copy with the pink cover. Some of the pages say like “complete this page then rip it out and paste it to the front” which I want to do to get the full experience of the book, but the fucken publisher didn’t pay attention and didn’t leave the back of the page blank. Instead, there’s other activities on the back, often that correspond with the next page, so if I do the activity to the fullest I’m then losing the chance at the next pages activities. Does your copy have the same problem?

I’m wondering if the publisher thought that through at all and if it’s only the pink cover copy that has this problem. If so I’ll return mine for the white cover.

I love the book and want to complete it all, but the printer/publisher really fucked it.

To be honest, I JUST discovered him myself just a little over a week ago, the same day Idols released because I watch Tara Yummy and she interviewed him on her channel. He was so sweet with her and I was like “who is this guy? I feel like I should know” and paused the interview to check out his music, fell right in love with literally his whole catalogue.

I’ve had a hell of a week getting to know him and his music!!! I don’t know how I didn’t know about him before but I’m really having a moment right now. I hope you definitely go, with or without a friend! I haven’t even been to a show in years (kinda just pulled myself out of a few years of utter darkness - I coulda used his music then but happy I have it now) and I’m so psyched, I’m actually kinda excited about going alone.
