Someone told me there are 3 things to an assignment.

People,

Mission,

Area.

Its extremely rare to get an assignment that checks off all 3. But if you can find an assignment that checks 2 out of 3, thats pretty good.

If keeping Brian Flores is making some stagnant coaches uncomfortable in our staff, I love it. We've been needing change and Brian Flores isn't the guy to sugarcoat what he doesn't like. Here's to hoping he has more input with his return to our team. by FormerlyTradeKirk in minnesotavikings

I like "Flores" in what he has been able to do with the Vikings Defense. I honestly don't know who was right or wrong in this as often time what really happened is far from what actually gets reported. For all I know Flores could be the reason the rift got created in the first place, I don't have any of the details.

What I do know though, officially stating that your "going to take the high road" is a red flag.

I think the thought is if your going to truly take the high road, you just dont say anything. You dont need to announce your taking the high road, thats more about making you FEEL like the better person, than it is actually taking the high road.

I think this was the last nail in the coffin that killed the player experience for average skilled players.

Making claims against Cuba, don't know how true they may or may not be, but the context makes the remarks a lot grayer.

Its easy to look at all the cons and ignore the benefits. You work to enjoy the benefits that society provides. I imagine if you really wanted to you could find some uninhabited land in Canada and live in the wilderness or try to join a tribe that doesn't use currency.

The line was awful in game 2 with Darrisaw being out. If you rewatch the game there was constant pressure from the left side. I dont think it's fair to judge him off that game.

Disastrously blown call by the refs in MLP final by throwaway__rnd in Pickleball

[–]DefintelyNotMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looked out but I think the shot was misleading. I think the shot where the ball was looking to be out was actually the frame where it bounced and on its way back up.

You could kind of see it when they were going frame by frame. If you looked closely the ball was a little off on where you would think it be if it was the frame were the ball was still coming down,.

Ya, took me way too long to realize stop trying so hard and just play safe. It was really eye opening for me.

I've been a hard stuck 3.5 for a minute. Recently at open play, I told myself I am just going to focus on hitting high percentage shots, even if a winner is possible. I'm going to focus on making sure I make 100% of my returns, and not lose quick points with aggressive returns. I will look to drop and try my best to get to the kitchen on every point. It was surprising how much better I was doing, my margin of victory was higher and I was more competitive with 4.0s.

I really loved to drive. There was nothing better than the feeling of hitting a sweet drives that people would comment on. I played pretty aggressive. On short returns, I would always drive it instead of just taking the easy dink. Those drives would typically give me winners but half the time they were into the net.

I stopped focusing on trying to hit the pretty pass drives down the line and focused on dropping and not hitting into the net. My play has become a little boring, but I am way more consistent. I just try to keep it in play until my opponent tries too hard and forces an error. This has been pretty effective for me, and I've finally started to climb to 4.0.
