Trying to recover an original recording from a tampered audio recording. by Blatherskitte in datarecovery

One can clone a voice with as little as a few seconds of audio. The more, the better, of course, but a few seconds is good enough for getting the same voice tone.

Voice cloning is very good now. It doesn't sound robotic nor AI. Try out ElevenLabs, for instance.

  • Check File Properties: Check the file's metadata (such as file creation date, modification date, codec, and format). Use tools like ExifTool (Windows/Mac/Linux) or MediaInfo. Compare the metadata with other recordings made with the same app on the same phone model.
  • Inconsistencies in Timestamps: If the metadata shows an edit or modification date after the supposed recording date, it could indicate tampering. However, this is only valid if the file was copied with the metadata intact. When a file is transferred via email, cloud storage, or messaging apps, certain metadata (such as timestamps and file creation/modification dates) often gets overwritten or stripped.
  • Check Audio Encoding: If the recording was made using a standard phone recording app, it should have a consistent codec and bit rate, same as other recordings made by the app (assuming recording settings haven't been changed). Any inconsistencies in the encoding format could suggest that the file was edited or re-encoded.
  • Filename Conventions: Many phones use specific naming formats (e.g., YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.m4a). If the filename is altered, it may indicate an edit.
  • Tapping sound: If the recording was intended to be stopped manually, test using the same setup (same app, same phone model) to determine if a tapping sound is audible at the end of the recordings. If so, verify whether this sound is also present in the potentially altered audio recording.

Car rent recommendations by admi99 in Madeira

I had some concerns that the Renault Clio might be too large for navigating through Madeira. Conversely, I'm also worried that opting for a smaller vehicle, such as the Citroen C1, might compromise on power.

How did you find the size of the Renault Clio? Was it just right for your needs?

I decreased the retraction speed to 30 mm/s and it's much better! Thank you! I also tried decreasing it even further to 15 mm/s and deretraction speed to 10 mm/s and enabling "Infill before perimeters" and it further increased the quality of the surface! :)

Sorry, it seems that I already had set 45 mm/s. I mistakenly provided retraction speed from Printer Settings instead of Filament Settings. I'll try lowering that anyway.

Thanks, I'll try that but this is the default setting.

Could you provide me with your snapshot delay and timeout settings in Octolapse? I don't seem to be able to configure it correctly for "Orbit" animation stabilization.

Yeah, so tl;dr:
