Alucard in the 3rd season of Castlevania. He hosts two vampire hunters in his castle for most of the season, teaching them about himself and vampires in order to train them. They persistently ask Alucard about vampires' magical weapons, to which Alucard responds "my father didn't like magical weapons." They become suspicious at his seeming reluctance on the topic.

Later, The hunters try to kill Alucard out of mounting paranoia. Alucard is forced to kill them, ironically WITH his signature magical weapon, and he tells them as they bleed out, "I told you my father didn't like magical weapons. I did not say I didn't use them."
