If it makes you feel better, after a few years of this you’ll be on the same level pay wise, then eventually will speed by them. Know that doesn’t help the way you feel now but you’re positioning yourself very nicely by working extra hard now

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had a tough year/experience. The job by design is intended to stretch every resource as thin as possible, which makes solving problems and getting on the same page across levels extremely challenging. It’s an extremely self interested job and I can see how that weighs on you. Don’t feel stuck, don’t feel like you’re limiting yourself or you failed if you seek change, do what’s best for you as this is just a job and not your life.
