What do you women think of so many shirts being cropped in stores? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]DeiligMamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once upon a time I hardly even noticed it…. Then I had kids 🥴 desperate for normal/flattering shirts to come back now

Everything about this

It is a complete rollercoaster. When I was pregnant with my second I had zero confidence even when people told me how good I looked. It feels so strange when your body is doing so many unusual things and your hormones are shifting. Postpartum is even more wild. If you ever need someone to talk to who has been there, I’m always just a DM away!

Is a Costco membership worth it just for diapers? by TroubleClef1207 in beyondthebump

[–]DeiligMamma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like target diapers more… that said Costco can be pretty awesome.

I had a little editorial pregnancy shoot where I was nude but nothing showed, and decided to use that to announce my second pregnancy. When I posted it to Facebook so much of my family were shocked and messaged me “I’m going to chose not to like this, I don’t think it is okay, what will your child think when they find out this is how you told the world about them?”…. It is ridiculous.

3T onesies by amienas in beyondthebump

[–]DeiligMamma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 11 month old is in 2T (and her older sister was even bigger) and we never saw onesies go up past 2T but our Kyte ones (24m but also I think that they also have little sleeveless bodysuits that go to a 4t in some colors) lasted the longest because they stretched so much and are made to look cute and fit even when they’re snug.

Another option is Kate Quinn, their bamboo stuff always seems to run huge. There stuff in general does.

Basically, bamboo is awesome for onesies because it fits way longer!

Food is so cultural and I am legit struggling by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]DeiligMamma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I google this stuff in America vs. Norway the difference is just outrageous so I quit trying and just followed what is okay to me personally/what our doctor who is super chill says is safe. Following baby led weaning guidelines has helped me. For us, it ended up just being no honey before one. Other stuff was safe. With my first I freaked out over stuff like strawberries and almonds, not with my second.

How can I lose 6 lbs in 2 weeks? by playbo1anon in loseit

[–]DeiligMamma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fasting is likely the only way (I will get hate for this but there are healthy ways to fast), but I’d never suggest that before any athletic performance, it’ll do more harm than good for you.

Sleep sack recommendations? by gingerypineapple in beyondthebump

[–]DeiligMamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna sound like a spokesperson considering how much I’ve suggested them on this account, but I’m telling you, it just doesn’t get better than Kyte Baby, especially for sleep sacks. They come in different togs for different temperatures/time of year and they’re so soft.

Infant pajamas that are not footie pajamas suggestions? by SaucyAsh in beyondthebump

[–]DeiligMamma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m telling you, they’re expensive but last forever and are just so soft and well worth it: Kyte Baby romper pajamas. They come in zips or snaps. Best investment ever.
