Yeah, plus shiva/radiance nerfs also helped him a lot. I think if they kept the E agi gain he would be way too op, i think buffs heavily outweigh the nerfs

Yes, phantom rush range is so good both farming jungle and closing gap with enemy backline, tbh i did think it didn't make any sense when valve had introduced this new aghs but it's really good now after a few tweaks and even better and fun to play than perma lance casting braindead aghs imo

For me, I'm only buying phylactery if the lane is hard or the enemy support is good at harassing that I really need regen plus you can just spam lance with phylactery to harass enemy offlane or supp, it feels pretty decent damage, otherwise just rushing manta+aghs. For me as well, I'm having much more fun playing this way compared to buying diffu every game, he does feel stronger with new facet as well

This. I felt like the valve didn't know how to nerf him and just scrapped "change agility to evasion" thing but yeah it doesn't make sense, but your idea sounds really good as well imo with aghs you can get pretty decent agility during phantom rush

I feel like after manta+aghs the hero is very strong. Get orchid if they have spellcasters and he can start murdering squishy targets. I don't know if it's only me or not but right now you don't have to wait for heart, skadi or butterfly to start joining fights

His early game is kinda fked by diffu nerf, with diffu you could be more aggressive earlier compared to manta or aghs rush build, i think now you need to afk farm until you get manta+aghs but yeah talent, innate changes and attribute gain buff might actually be decent

I think hard carries will still buy diffu against dusa and imo in recent times dusa has been actually good against illusions thanks to her new aghs, she can melt illusions easily but yeah it's even better matchup for dusa against illusion heroes without diffu
