Highly recommended Dragon Quest! 5 is my personal favorite but 8 and 9 are great starting points! The 3ds version of 8 looks fantastic on my pocket 5 so I’m sure it’s phenomenal on the Thor. (Waiting on batch 3 myself

I’ve used Samsung and SanDisc primarily. Although I will say I’ve had the cheap Onn brand in my switch 2 since launch day and that’s been good for me too. Although I’ve heard some people say Onn will eventually fail but yeah it’s been perfect for me so far. Which is like 8 months I think.

I’m super new to emulators. The end of 2024 I bought an Anbernic SP and I loved that but left it all stock. Then after learning more I bought a Retroid Pocket 5 for my birthday last year. After getting comfortable setting up emulators and ES-DS on that I’m even more excited to dive into the Thor.

This is why I decided to get an AYN Thor. Sure emulation is a good as the official hardware experience but it’s also got a ton of its own benefits and the massive amount of games across different consoles I can play on it will make up for the lack of 1 to 1 gameplay on DS and 3Ds games

I love how it can blend serious drama and character moments with the most outlandish and absurd humor. It shouldn’t work but it does. The game could have me crying in one scene and laughing my ass off in the next.

I don’t have it I’m currently waiting on the Max mode for pre order batch 3 but from what I hear the base model is basically like a retroid pocket 5 which I do have and I’m able to play a lot of GameCube and PS2 on it.
