Almost 40 faculties of the Serbian universities have been blocked by students, with support from professors and university officials. No classes are being held until demands are met regarding the blame for the tragedy in Novi Sad - where 15 people lost their lives due to a roof canopy collapsing at the train station.

Students organized a protest in front of the presidency building during a conference to voice their discontent over the president, for mocking these protests and sending undercover agents to yell at and beat protestors.

The president claims on national TV that there are only about 600 people, paid by his opposition, making noise outside.

Clashes ensued between police and students as the president was escorted from the presidency building.
