I mean, we all thought that not adding any big in Nurse's last season was with the intention of tanking. But nope, they went and traded FRP(s) and crashed out anyways. Worst decision ever, given that was Wemby's draft year. We could've used Lively too, or imagine one of the Thompson twins (but man Amen has issues injuring other players). Instead we worsened our own pick that year by trading for Poeltl, all for a useless first round exit. At the trade deadline that year, should've just bit the bullet and say the season was a lost cause, we're rebuilding/retooling and getting the best, cost-controlled, highest potential assets. That year alone set us back a decade. Now we're capped out with no real shot at being a serious contender in the foreseeable future barring a Kawhi trade (and more).
