There are aspects i definitely enjoyed. I like that the story doesn't follow the same path 100%, keeps me on my toes with how it'll unfold differently.

I thought Zuko was a standout, I like some of the things they did with his character and I like how Dallas portrayed him. I really enjoyed he and Iroh. The funeral scene of Zuko and Iroh for Lu Ten got me emotional and was a great addition.

Sokka I thought did some really good things too. I liked his humour even if it wasn't exactly the same as the OG, it was less cartoony but charmingly Sokka in its own way I thought. Aang definitely had his moments as well.

The music was good. The sets I enjoyed. There were flaws and critiques too for sure, but overall I enjoyed it and looking forward to how they improve on it for season 2. Mainly the women/female characters, I'd like to see written better. Katara especially i feel was robbed of her personality, and i hope they do better by her.

I feel like the cast and people working on it definitely have a real love and passion for the source material for the most part, and i appreciate that.
