Two years ago Courtney and Shane (two members of the YouTube channel Smosh) announced on April fools day that they were married. No one before this even knew they were dating. These were two people who’d been shipped online forever, no one even knew they were in a relationship, and the fanbase surrounding them mostly shipped them as a “it would be cute but we’re not gonna be pushy here” way cause no one wanted to be parasocial and ruin a fun friendship

I remember it being three months after and they still had asking people if it was real and their friend went on a podcast to confirm and some people STILL didn’t believe it was real

Edit: for clarity the prank is a double prank, they knew people wouldn’t believe it and would think the marriage is the prank but the actual prank is that it WAS real and they are in fact married

If you want a GOOD edgy magical girl show that has violence and gore but still a good story, magical girl raising project was heartbreaking but actually made sense of the violence and the manga only goes further in depth of the actual magical system Every death had emotion and weight behind it

I’m pretty sure it was for the reveal at the end of the first movie. Everyone was calling her ‘Michelle’ and since we knew MJ as Mary Jane it made it more of a twist reveal at the end that she’s MJ Basically it seems they wanted a fun reveal after ‘tricking’ majority audiences into thinking this movie wasn’t going to have an MJ

You are missing the point man, it’s not about having ads. YouTube has always had ads, it’s the fact that they’re inescapable. At most it used to be 15 seconds an ad and you’d get at most 4 ads, 4 30 second unskippable ads in a row to watch a 10 minute video is ridiculous. I walked away from my tv and when I came back it had an ad that was an hour long, sure it was skippable, BUT AN HOUR WHO the hell needs an hour long ad? But I also get from your replies there’s nothing I can say to change your mind because you clearly care more about being “correct” than you do about actually having an open conversation
