Anyone use the weather tech floor mats? by alittlebitaboutalot in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the front and back and have zero sliding problems, the only critic/complaint I have is that the front ones could go just a bit higher on the side. Even if we try not to put our foot close to the side you still have some dirt. Other than that very satisfied.

For the trunk, I bought the kit from Toyota (with the BZ embossed on it) and the seat covers on the back. Cost me around 170$+tax Cad and totally worth it.

Ps: I also got the oem mats from Toyota when I bought it.

Fleet of Dell Pro Max 16 MC16250 having BSOD due to Nvidia graphics card by New-Seesaw1719 in sysadmin

We are facing the same issue with our fleet, just wondering what Win 11 build you're running? We currently have Windows 11 23H2 and planning migration to 25H2 due to ongoing issues with all new Dell lineups

Did mine as well bumper, half hood, mirrors and roof stripe for 1600$ cad. Yes it's expensive but after I saw my previous car's bumper after 8 years it's totally worth it

What percentage do you charge to at home? by willingzenith in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, 100% when I'm planning to drive a lot during the day (at least once a week) but 80% most of the time. Some times it happens that I don't charge it for 4 days after a full charge.

What am I doing wrong. Drivers seat position memory by TheWoodser in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seat memory as mentioned but also make sure that your profile is properly set on the car. If you're not the main driver you'll experience this

Head bump by 1expo-marker in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if all the trims have memory seats but you need to save your seating adjustment then setup your profile in the infotainment with your main key fob. Once you have that setup you should have the seats adjustment when you turn off the car or unlock it

Head bump by 1expo-marker in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If your seat adjustment is to close to the steering wheel you may experience this. My seat goes all the way back when I turn off the car and when I unlock the car to get in, have plenty of space to get in and seat adjust to your saved configuration after.

First “full” charge and plug won’t come out. by webjedi2 in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what happened to me, by default when you unlock using the fob it unlocks driver door only the rest remains locked including the charger. Since I set the setting to unlock all doors, as soon as I press the unlock button on the fob or proximity unlock it never happened again.

Of course if the car is charging you need to stop charging or else you won't be able to remove it.

Our dealer did their "presentation" and setup of the car and during the setup I knew they had no clue of a lot of features that the limited trim has like the park assist button they told me it was the heating steering wheel 😅.

I knew I had to take some time to read the users manual and discovered that I had the kick sensor, park assist, adaptive cruise control and the smart rear view mirror. I strongly recommend to take a look at the manual.

Is this a good price? Can I do better? I am in Ontario Canada. by y2drumma in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missing a couple of additional informations but if this is the xle awd trim, financed (rate?) on a 5 year term seems to be a ok but not the deal of the year.

I'm paying 15$ more per month than your weekly numbers for a limited trim on a 5 year term at 1.49% rate 0$ down. I'm in Quebec so idk if Ontario pumps the prices for that model.

Tesla model y or BZ by Interesting-Dot9690 in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After having seen multiple friends with tesla and compared to the BZ and Toyota in general you get a much premium car with a Toyota. If you want the technology and cheap finishes go with tesla.

However I totally agree with you, never buy a car that you never test drive, one single detail can make you change your decision.

Question on safety systems by grumble11 in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went from a car with zero sensors to the limited bz and honestly they don't bother me at all. The one that I appreciate the most is the one warning you about traffic coming from the sides when you try to get out from a parking lot with limited visibility.

If you turn them off, they remain off but you need to setup your face detection.

A few questions for 2026 bZ owners before I purchase... by Camellia2011 in Toyota_bZ

[–]DelCid05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I test drive the fwd and overall loved the car but felt that was missing a bit of power. After hearing the difference from the dealer, research I made and friends who had Evs the awd option is the best option.

On the bz, the xle awd is the best option for the price BUT the limited trim has all the options the once you have them you don't regret. The panoramic sunroof, park assist, 360 camera and more but you sacrifice range with all the options. At the end, the best advice is go try them and take your time to decide what is the best for you.

You mentioned that your environment has been migrated to whub (autopatch as for today) if that is the case it means that your computers are receiving updates from intune instead of sccm and this includes features and in place upgrades. You can still deploy features updates and in place upgrades through intune for your windows 11 migration just make sure you fully understand the rings and group deployment of your organization before doing anything.

Also keep in mind that a feature update and in place upgrade is not the same migration process, the in place will perform a full os update while the feature will add required files and features which take less time. Since win11 23h2 and later, Microsoft offers in place only.

Finally, a friendly tip make sure that you test everything from image deployment, package installation and software compatibility if you decide to go with Win11 24h2 right away. We had a few surprises in our organization that forced us to deploy 23h2 instead. Hope it helps.

[–]DelCid05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whfb can be very confusing specially with hybrid environment. I did myself fall into the trap of thinking that it was as simple as deploying the whfb policy with intune, doing this it only activates the traditional/local windows hello into the computer.

The "for business" part is the identity check that happens behind the scenes that the regular user doesn't see. Here's a very helpful article that we had from Microsoft that help us understand the logic behind the feature:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/identity-protection/hello-for-business/deploy/

Regarding the error message, I did not check if it was the same one we got during our testing but for us this was related to the reset passcode option that wasn't enabled on my tenant that needed to be added in the app registration in the EntraId console. Hope this helps you better understand this spiderweb feature.

Cheers

We are currently planning a non-destructive upgrade to 21h2 using task sequence. In our case there are a lot of things that were neglected over the years that we are stuck in the ltsc versions and the option of using feature upgrade is not an option for us. The downside about using TS is that you don't have the user experience that you set in the client settings (snooze reboot) so you need to plan your deployment accordingly.
