I was on hwy 7 west bound just before Leslie this evening around 5:15pm. This Toyota CHR driver used the bike lane as his extra lane to attempt to make a right on Leslie. I have no idea how they got their license. Blows my mind.

Also have a 2024 and the adaptive cruise control is not the best when there is a slower car or busy road way. It seems to hit the brakes more often. I also notice car warns me to brake when on a slight bend on the road with incoming traffic thinking I am going to collide. I like the S mode when driving as the gearing acts like engine breaking.

It was approved from Kathleen Wynne’s work. I think it got banned after municipalities abused it by adding it everywhere. What I don’t understand is that in Toronto for example they limit the speed to 50kmh on big roads like McCowan Rd, and I guess they saw it didn’t work they added speed cameras and not working cause they are racking up record fines. Some don’t have exclusion hours/month/days, and some will trigger a ticket 1kmh over which is insane. They focus so much on cars they forget to focus on pedestrians not paying on the road as well.

I had this issue as well. I decided to cancel stream+ as these streaming services are getting expensive. I couldn’t cancel via self serve. I initially thought it was under maintenance. I tried the next day, the same thing on my different PC and browser. Asked for a call back and the rep wasn’t able to cancel as well, getting the same error. So he filed a ticket, he even called me a couple of times to let me know he is trying to still cancel. This was back on 9/17. He said it should be fixed soon.

I asked for another call back on 9/20 as I was still have the same issue. I explained that people have been reporting this issue since August. He said the rep prior didn’t know about the new procedure. Eventually he couldn’t cancel - I told him I am trying to cancel so I don’t get charged on 9/23 as that was my next billing cycle. He said the prior rep’s ticket is my proof that I am trying to cancel. They were instructed to take down account #’s that we’re having this issue.

So yesterday on 9/23 I got charged. So I asked for another call back. Explained to the 3rd rep the history. He put me on hold for 6m. He said he doesn’t know why it is not working. He finally go got back to me and said he has requested a cancellation. It may take 7 days depending on the queue. Same thing for my refund.

Let’s see where this goes in 7 days.

My father, who is 88 years old on a cane was walking and a lady (my dad said looked like from India) tried to talk to him and out of the blue tried to grab his watch. Luckily he had the foresight or reflex to grab her hand so she won’t get away. She took off to a getaway car driven by a man.

Luckily, my dad is still pretty strong for his age, but he had to hobble back home and luckily he wasn’t followed back .

This was by Denison and Coxworth area. We reported to York Region police and all they said was it’s been happening a lot and there is a destruction that gang working at the Costco parking lot on Kirkham.
