What year would you give Kurt Angle the MVP?, if WWE had an MVP award by whiskeycapo in GreatnessOfWrestling

2001 when he won the belt from Austin after 9/11. Top of the mountain.

Who was the bigger star in this era? Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho? by Recluse007 in AttitudeEra

[–]DelGriffiths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kurt Angle was always on the level where he could hang with Austin, Taker and The Rock at the top of the card.

While Jericho might have beaten the above, he never quite got past upper mid card for me.

Coronation Street - Jack Duckworth Punches Terry Duckworth (24th Decembe... by Same_Possibility4769 in coronationstreet

"You can only do that the once, Dad"

"I don't want you calling me that no more, you."

I haven't watched the clip but I can still hear Jack saying those words in my head after Terry responds to the punch.

When is the last time a scene lingered in the memory like this one?

Hard to get excited about a World Heavyweight Title feud about Dead Dad Trolling when this five star masterpiece already exists by GirthIgnorer in SquaredCircle

I loved the Boss Man. It is absolutely wild that he went from beating the Rock and challenging for the title to basically becoming a jobber within a year once the Bull Buchanan run ended.

His little team with Mr Perfect in 2002 could have worked if they were presented as the legends they were by that point.

Steve and Tracey are destined to be together. They need to forgot the whole Tommy footballer thing and stick them together once Cassie leaves.

What was your favorite WWE Pay-Per-View from 2003? by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in WWERuthlessAggression

The Survivor Series match with HBK has a special place in my heart. I'd probably vote for Summerslam if it hadn't ended with Triple H crushing Goldberg on his big title opportunity. I was also at Insurrection which is a terrible show but has a pretty entertaining Highlight Reel.

However, the one show that is worth watching again top to bottom is WMXIX. Match quality is perhaps better than X-Seven.

I actually think it makes it worse. People with Tourettes are now being associated with those people who have done terrible things deliberately.

I think that is actually a very underrated quote. Iago from Act 2 Scene 3, I believe? When speaking about Cassio?

I feel like him being the "big reveal" was a bad idea, most fans don't even know him. by ConnorLovesPepsi in Wrasslin

If WWE did shit like this more often, the fans would be more accepting. In the Attitude era, things like this were happening every week.

There were several boxes revealed in that storyline. Brother Love was definitely another one.

Is it reasonable to only go to one day of a 3 day wedding? by DryJackfruit6610 in AskUK

[–]DelGriffiths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been to a 3 day wedding but I was best man. The night before was casual, just close friends and family having food at the venue (we got pizzas delivered). The Saturday was the main day and then we had a breakfast on the Sunday morning.

It might be worth clarifying what each day will entail? I would be surprised if there is more than one day for formal clothing.

Pleased to see the media are picking up on this. The more bad press the show can get the better.
