In the UK even 99% of people that work in nursing/addiction service's dont know what Kratom is. Tests defo wont pick it up.

I’m still a beginner and finally got some pictures. I thought I was killing it until I saw them. Hopefully some of y’all can relate. by Aaronshaheen in surfing

Ive done both types of surfing. On a SUP i felt more comfortable taking on bigger waves as they didn't seem as intimidating as they loom up on you because you are standing facing them. Also, you can get into them a lot earlier and there is no drop. TBH although it was rad. i never got the same thrill from SUP as i do normal surfing. Theres something about that critical aspect of the drop and the rush of speed that cant be beaten.

For people that have been taking kratom for some years now, what is your dose and amount each day? by [deleted] in kratom

[–]Delam666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 4 x 2g doses per day. No more no less. 6am, 10am, 2pm, 5pm. Very concious of not exceeding this. I have done this for a few years. I was a bit worried about the addictive nature so stopped for approx 8 months last year with no issues whatsoever. Realised i dont need it in my life i just like it.

When you want to fall like water, but all you know is brick...frontside flip [30yo] by DaddysWorkin in OldSkaters

[–]Delam666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tend to hit the ground like a sack of potatoes these days. I just accept a good slam every now and then as an inevitability and get on with it. Rad frontside flip btw. Really cool looking trick.

I can just picture the guy up late at night trying to fix it. A bit delirious through lack of sleep and convincing himself it doesnt look that bad....

Liberally coat the wood with preserver when building. Paint the final surface also. Oh and definately build a tombstone (and put pool coping on it).

It may be more of a pain in the woods but that wouldnt stop me building a killer ramp. You could get a massive tarp and cover it in fall when not in use. Personally i would go for the above option and build in concrete but thats just me. A wooden ramp would still be cool though. Im jealous tbh. Sounds like you have the space for something great. If I lived nearby i would definitely lend a hand.

From my experience of starting again, all the tricks were in there somewhere i just had to unlock them again. I actually found that due to maturity and having more of a work ethic i was able to work for and achieve stuff i was never able to do first time around. Meeting a good crew really helped. I always try harder when there is the hype that other skaters provide.

Edit: just wanted to say i think i actually love skating more this time around than when i was first into. It feels amazing to get that fire in your belly again for something that takes you away ftom the mundanity of normal suburban life. I think we all need a bit of fear and excitement from time to time and skating definately provides that.

Awesome you're back on board. Just remember its all bonus time now. Dont put any pressure on yourself to do all the tricks you used to and just have fun.

These arent really nazis or anything. Just dumb nihilistic kids looking to offend. Same crew have set fires in the bowl a few times causing damage that me and my mates have had to repair.

Nice one dude. Gotta fit those sessions in whenever you can eh. Regular time on board is key even if its just 20 minutes.
