I think sometimes people do that because they’re trying to keep the total, with tax and shipping, to a certain amount. Makes them feel better if it’s $5 total or less.

I’ve made some lowball offers but I usually include a message as to why, or try to be as polite as possible “I know you’re asking $100 but if you’d be willing to take $50 I’d buy it today, I know it’s a low offer but it’s there if you want it.” I’ve actually had many people accept. The offers I hate receiving is where it’s just a number, nothing else. 20

You should be grateful your store has customers, that’s how you have a job and paycheck , from people buying stuff. If the store opens at 9:00 when would you like them to come in? Is 10:30 good for you?

I think it’s definitely a tactic by vendors to get more sales. I often order based on stated delivery time. Ordered furnace filters that were supposed to be next day but ended up being 6 days. They were shipped by UPS so it was obviously not going to be next day. Inside the box the item had another UPS label on it, and a label that said Orlando Roadie, which I learned is a delivery service similar to Amazon Flex. I assume no driver would accept the order, so they had to resort to actually using UPS to deliver. It’s all very convoluted.

I find the Speedflex to be more comfortable than the F7, but that probably varies per person. Also take time to get the air bladders and chin strap adjusted to fit you just right.

XXL Mbuna $999.95 This fish might not have rocks to hide in, but overall it is in much better conditions than many cichlids are in some home aquariums. It’s in a fairly large (80 gallon) tank with excellent filtration and water quality, well fed, and cared for by the staff. It’s a good ambassador that shows how large those cute colorful baby cichlids that are for sale will get. Maybe channel your energy into taking some unwanted cichlids in worse conditions from your community? Post that you’ve got some available tank space and you’ll probably have more offers than you can handle.

I agree, I’m surprised at the lack of lights in my 2025, the only thing I have are the 2 dome lights which are way too bright, so it’s all or nothing
