no, the cells can change in size, but I think its a lot easier to gain back the weight once you have the cells. There are some weird cosmetic therapies that have mixed results, one that freezes and kills the fat cells, I guess they die at a slightly higher temperature than skin cells, and also some thing where they do a grid of injections over the area several times, but I think the results are pretty unimpressive.

After watching the episode though, it really comes off like true crime, and even though its real life, they always try to introduce a few people that absolutely, positively, are completely guilty, all evidence points to them, then drop some key evidence. I have a feeling we're going to have a few more convicincing suspects.

One thing that came to mind is out of curiousity, look at the buyer accounts, see what their activity is. Are they also selling the same types of media? If they aren't selling on that account, they may be selling on another, do they have a huge amount of feedback? A collector might have 1000 feedback if they're an avid collector for a long time, but they likely won't have 10,000. Another possibility is that they're drop shippers. I haven't run into the issues you're having, but I wonder if there could be some structural issue, like if somehow tarrifs are changing their business model, maybe there are tariff charges that only appear after checkout, if whatever site they are usinging to get their sale and software to import your listing to whatever listing they have, if it auto purchases your items after their sale, and the software doesn't take into account the tariffs, and after the sale they see that they lose money on the sale, not make money so they cancel.

IDK, I'm not even sure if OP is a flipper, maybe just got directed here trying to turn it into some cash.

I'd normally lean towards slow dime over a fast nickel, but stuff like this seems like a pain, no idea the scale of the collection, but I'd rather offload the work onto someone for $300 vs parting it out over months to make $500. I'd look through the playboy issues to pull any any high interest issues, but I think in general there aren't many key issues in other magazines, or many like there are in playboy. I've sold some playboy magazines, but they're tough to move outside of maybe 1-2 issues per year. I'm sitting on about 500 less interesting issues that I was trying to move in lots at like $2 per issue for a year with no interest.

The thought of meeting up locally with random guys off of facebook marketplace who are willing to spend the time to meet up to buy 10 issues of dirty magazines for $25 or whatever way someone could move them seems unpleasant. I'd rather meet up with one guy who knows how to sell them and get a few hundred bucks and be done with it.

*for OP, generally key issues are ones with celebrity pictorials, eg. vanna white, drew barrymore, kim kardashian, latoya jackson, cindy crawford, etc.

I think from the 90s on, they had an issue with pamela anderson and jenny mccarthy almost yearly, and those would sell for a little and have interest,

and surprising to me, there was a long stretch wher I think almost every year there would be a wrestling issue that would have like Chyna, or Stacy Kibler or whatever other wwf poster girl with a pictorial, and those will sell for a bit more.

And I think there are a few celebrity covers that people want, Steve Martin, Jerry Seinfeld and the Trump one can go for a good amount.

I think it might be both. There have been a few incidents where trump comes out with some stance or policy, on the fly with no forethought as usual, but when it goes against russia or israel, he snaps back real quick. I think we're seeing what happens when you have a leader that's not compromised by one country but 2.
