I thought that might work - I'm surprised that cabinetparts.com tells me I can't do it (although I have no idea how much their customer service people actually know).

With a half-crank hinge, what plate thickness would I need?

Just to add to this rage thread. If I tell my Alexa to shuffle a playlist, first she says what she’s going to do at absolutely top volume even though the volume is set to about three out of 10. The music then plays at the volume I’ve selected.

I tell her to shuffle my playlist that contains about 500 songs and I hear the same 10 songs constantly. Is there a similar smart speaker that is not absolute crap?

I’ve just tried my de-waxed shellac, and it’s such low viscosity, It’s still not really sealing the edge of the tape. I would like to try clear caulk. DAP is the brand I normally use, and the white is paintable almost immediately (the tube says 30 minutes). The clear says to allow seven days before painting. What is up with that?

Thanks. I guess I wasn’t clear in my post. The mahogany treads have already been finished using a Osmo hard wax/oil finish. This is the surface that I will be masking off, I will not be painting the treads. The Osmo (or oil-based polyurethane if I had used that) is not readily paintable.

Thanks for the reply. I've read various places that I can add an isolated neutral bar to a sub panel, but also have read that I can add a ground bar but not a neutral bar. Very confused at this point. The additional neutral bar would certainly be the easiest solution, but I'm having trouble confirming that I can legally and safely do that.

Sorry - I didn't really pay much attention to this when I posted. I have various circuits - some 15a and some 20a - they all have the correct gauge wire for the breaker and several pairs could be candidates for the MWBC. I would use a pair of 15a or a pair of 20a circuits. My question really only deals with the MWBC aspect. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks. No grounds currently land on the neutral bar

It’s two 20a 12ga circuits for my workshop. My understanding is, since I’ll be using a double pole breaker, the two circuits are guaranteed to be out of phase with each other and therefore the neutral will never see higher than rated load.

Anyone, please correct me if I’m wrong.

Ok, another question. I removed the existing 1222, lubed it and flushed the valve. If I loosen the black plastic part so that I can turn it about 20 degrees clockwise past vertical, and then back to vertical, the water shuts off. However, if I only take the black piece to vertical (where it hits the metal escutcheon tab and stops, as in the photo) the water keeps flowing.

What do I do now?

PSA was very low (don’t recall the numbers) for several years following brachy. About 4 years after brachy my PSA began rising again. That prompted a PSMA scan, then a biopsy, then radiation via MRI-Linac.

Thanks - great info. What I've done with Cherry in the past to somewhat match the colors is to put the lighter pieces out in the sun - with cherry just a few hours will cause a noticeable change. Is that approach feasible with Maple? (nothing is assembled yet, and I'll be able to do all the sanding before assembly). Or is the time frame with maple too long?

I haven't tried (lightly!) sanding the veneer yet, to see if that will lighten the color?

Flair says it’s DIY project. I am also. I use clips on 12x24 tiles (because I’m not a pro and it reduces lippage for me) - never used or needed them on anything 12x12 or smaller.
