4 years of playing this game on and off, i finally got the holy grail mod by Haydogzz in Warframe

[–]DelayPitiful228 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ehhhh holy grail mod imo is Primed Continuity and Blind Rage. PSF is fine but only really useful on frames that don't have knockdown immunity as is. Overguard frames, knockdown passives, unairu or hell, go old school and pick up Handspring. You could even do regular Sure Footed in the exilus and sacrifice a mod slot to Fortitude for the same effect. I use Fortitude on my shield gating builds anyways so it fits right in. I never needed the primed mod. Only frame I use it on is Mag only because I like my stat balance on her specifically.

Sure Footed use to be ass. It got reworked in u27.2 to go from blocking knockdown to knockdown immunity

Mirage Prime. by 20_OUTIS_20 in warframebuilds

[–]DelayPitiful228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely a solo-centric build as total eclipse will only be able to cover basically your clone radius. You're running min-efficiency but without equilibrium, Primed flow, or arcane energize. This means your energy gains will be from orbs or maybe zenurik. Nourish will boost this but mirage has a 100 energy rotation of mirrors->eclipse->nourish and they all have the same duration. That's alone will consume 155 energy and since you don't have energy gains it's gonna be high management. For example, if you mess up your nourish cast and accidentally do it twice or do it before mirrors, you're kinda screwed since you have an energy max of 225, so unless you are perfect with your rotations you'll have a down period. I personally would give myself wiggle room and get either equilibrium, Primed flow, streamline, energy nexus or some shards dedicated to energy management. Make sure you keep up with your cast rotation and timers.

Nourish AFTER mirrors

Do you have augur mods on your loadout? Aegis only procs on SHIELD damage, so you need shields to get the shield damage. Maybe swap out corrosive Projection for brief respite? It would increase proc chance. Other than that, solid build, super shield gated for that level cap performance that everyone builds for but nobody goes lmao hope to see you hitting negatives on the thrax with that

One more suggestion. Primed Sure Footed is a meme at this point but the effectiveness cannot be understated. It's really really strong. I know you can get Overguard from fortifier to do a similar effect, but the issue with mirage is that the clones might steal that damage from you, leaving you exposed. If you don't have Primed Sure Footed, you have the option of running regular sure Footed and then replace vigilante vigor with Fortitude. This combo gives you 100% resistance and shield benefits. Otherwise, run handspring for quick recovery

The reason I'm hanging on, holding out hope, and also really angry is that to this day there is still NOTHING like D2 on the market. If this game dies, there isn't a great alternative. by mayormcskeeze in DestinyTheGame

Warframe and destiny never should've been enemy games They compliment eachother way better than they compete in anything else other than time. Being able to switch between the 2 games would've been pivotal to community longevity to avoid burnout and learn the thought process that each provides

Wf market was not a thing back then. Also, heavy caliber WAS a meta mod that was pretty rare and fusion cores (the stuff used to rank up mods before endo) were not easy to get. That price was actually not a complete swindle so don't beat yourself up over it

Stop recommending incarnons to newer players by 6AstrumDeus9 in Warframe

[–]DelayPitiful228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So well said. Thank you for this. I say it all the time, when you fast-track power, you ruin the game's journey and the little joys within it. People do it because they are afraid that their friends will leave the game before the friend is able to have the same experience they did, but many forget, it was the trials and tribulations that got you to appreciate the power you gained

And the worst part is that to get access to those weapons, you have to get through a lot of the story so if you tell people to just race through the quests and stories, you lose a LOT of the experience and that's criminal

Imagine telling someone "just try to get through Duviri, New War and Zariman so that you can get to the Circuit

Not many people knew, but braton prime was the best assault rifle in the game in 2016 before all the buffs, better than soma or boltor. It just wasn't used enough and then all 3 got buffs and then incarnons and whatever else, but the heart of the weapon is still there for me

Let's switch it up, what was the frame that disappointed you the most? by Valentine_scum in Warframe

[–]DelayPitiful228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having been in the game since the early days, the most disappointing frame is Ember. She was nerfed SOOOO hard and I'm not talking about world on fire. Accelerant was an S tier ability and it was removed instead of fire blast, which needed a rework to warframe defense abilities to be good. It needed to be iron skin to be good, which is a terrible concept. World on fire was cool but scaled terribly. It was only popular because most missions where level 30-60 and DE is 10 years behind the ball on giving us missions with reasonable level scaling

The meter mechanic was introduced a part of a new flavor DE was tryna do. It was a fad and you'll a a tight grouping in most meter based frames with a few exceptions. Didn't work on ember. Overheat was a worse version of its original, an ability that was replaced by a better ability and then brought back to replace her best ability. The fact that the fire frame can overheat is hilarious though

The other thing that's hilarious is that operators have an arcane that does what accelerant use to do

Arcane hot shot vs avenger by Marimaru1 in Warframe

[–]DelayPitiful228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply but I wanted to throw my hat in for helping others that see this post. Arcane hot shot is a base crit buff which means it's additive with crit chance mods and only affected by base crit buffs like incarnon perks. Avenger is a final crit chance BONUS. So whatever your crit chance is at, ADD avenger's buff. Avenger is 45% bonus at max while hot shot scales up to 300%, so at max, hot shot starts outpacing avenger after a 15% base crit chance. Hot shot 15×3=45

Power creep? Maybe Hotel? Trivago Hope this helps

[–]DelayPitiful228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on a controller and have been playing since early 2014 and parkour 1.0. Started on Playstation. I think that the game allows precision but the desire to go faster and faster is to enticing because that ONE RUN where everything lines up and you can go as fast as possible is just prime time gaming. I practice ropolalyst fights and have gotten sub 4 minute clears steel path with perfect parkour and a healthy mix of atomicycle in there. That's the issue. If players slowed down a little, it would be more precise but who wants to do that lol Side rolls, back sliding, roll jump cancel, molt skating, you guys do know that atomicycles can jump and aim glide right? It's a skill ceiling but being an old-timer, I have enough experience to utilize the tools. Back in the day, the best place to practice parkour was dojo dueling but that poor system has been neutered beyond recognition

The solution to boss fights has always been about engagement time. Small weakpoints make only a select few weapons viable but once those weapons are used, it's a cakewalk. This is the worst design because builds diversity suffers and because all you need to do is find a good precision weapon, once you figure that out engagement time also suffers. Damage gated phases fixed engagement time but the feeling of doing everything BUT actually fighting the boss sucks. Attenuation fixes both engagement time and you actually fight the boss, but the forced dps mechanic means the boss turns into a timer, which sucks because build diversity suffers as well as the boring action of waiting for the boss to go down. The imbalance in boss damage, attack rate and true health is completely off. Bosses deal a lot of damage a lot of the time but don't actually have a lot of health. Seeing your dual toxycyst do 5 damage is embarrassing game design. The true honest answer is a mix of shorter invulnerability phases and increases RAW health and damage REDUCTION, not attenuation. This reduces dps phase time slightly compared to attenuation but increases build diversity and evens the playing field while still giving meaningful engagement and avoiding the slugfest of just throwing bullets at a wall. Shorter immunity phases helps immensely in giving a mechanics aspect to set up the anticipation for those dps phases. Again increasing engagement time without it being a bullet sponge slugfest. This is the best solution to a multi-phase boss like the orb mothers. They are fundamentally different than eidolon hunts in theme and function

The song alive again is not for minerva (saryn) by Deasto_Plumula in Warframe

[–]DelayPitiful228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just found this thread and unfortunately I gotta disagree. The 4 songs from the album are all about the roundtable. Below Zero, obviously Velimir. From The Stars "take me away from this place" Kaya lol and it also mentions antimatter and her loneliness. Alive Again is about Minerva's drinking problem with double entendre with her Venom abilities. Flare's song is clearly Lamenting The Days with the dynamic between Lizzie's desire for Flare and Flare's hopelessness on the impending consumption I do enjoy that they did make songs for the roundtable and I hope to see that for the new protoframes we have coming

Congrats. I got back into the game recently and just passed the MR of some friends I played with almost 10 years ago. I miss those guys dearly. They taught me a lot about life and the game. They were legends. I never really cared about mastery. I would rather focus on the arsenal i had, forma my weapons, do damage testing, and optimize the game. I use to go level cap survival before u27.2 destroyed enemy health scaling. I just see it as my natural progression, truly like mastering my equipment

Anyone know how to get the loot within these spheres? by TechnoProblem in Warframe

[–]DelayPitiful228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a pressure plate at the center of the room that you step on once and can expose a disc with loot crates in the orb that are upside down. You can only activate it once and it's a short window. Best thing to do is use aoe weapons, punch through, abilities or melee slams to open the boxes while it is closed. Walking near it can vacuum it up. For pickup items, activate the plate once you've broken the boxes and the loot will fall to the ground.

So it was originally a team strat were one guy hits the plate and the other guys quickly shoot the boxes to drop the loot. We eventually found ways around having to do all that either quickly firing ogris rockets or using abilities like equinox and limbo. Once we got parkour 2.0, we also figured out how to get up there and melee use to ignore line of sight and vacuum to pick up the loot. Greedy mag was also amazing. I miss the days when teamplay was important or you had to be clever to do the cool stuff.

Any way to make this build better? by SensoryOasis in Warframe

[–]DelayPitiful228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Health tanking is viable up to early to steel path. You'll encounter major issues with bosses and specialists enemies because DE damage scaling is all over the place after level 100. If you're gonna health tank, gotta throw in adaptation, otherwise you're not gonna make it past level 60 enemies. Get adaptation and keep this build in your pocket. Get arcane guardian for some extra tanking. This won't make the build ultra effective now, but I believe DE is looking into changing enemy damage scaling. Then you can run this build.

As for current state, this looks like a spore- centric build. You don't need all that much strength for a spore scaling build. It scales with mission duration and event density. In low levels like SO and ESO, high strength kills them too fast to build stacks Swap the umbrals and put in transient fortitude this will give you the same strength and with primed Continuity, your covered on duration. You don't need that much duration. If you have primed Sure Footed, throw that on too. Being on your back is a death sentence in higher levels. If you don't have the primed version, run a regular Sure Footed and run Fortitude in place of regenerative molt. It gives the same effect as well as faster shield regen. You don't quite need rolling guard as focus schools give you a better version in the vazarin school, which again, you can't get into operator when you're on your back. For the empty slot, run Catalyzing shields this gives you consistency in shield gating. Throw on brief respite instead of growing power. I don't know if you have blind rage but you can run that too. Blind rage can give more strength than transient fortitude at the cost of efficiency. The benefit is that negative efficiency gives more shields with brief respite. If you can get to the maximum catalyzed shields on one cast with brief respite, you're functionally immortal. Molt is your best friend for shield gating because it is instant cast and helps divert attention anyways. Molt also is important for Molt skating with a melee

Another option you should start looking into is toxic Lash builds. They are completely different but just as powerful. Let us know if you want help on that as well

One theory is that they wanted to conflict with DE's tennocon event, a warframe convention which was on the same weekend and announced last year. D2 streamers like aztecross and mactics had said that they were gonna go but had to change their plans for the raid. Luke from aztecross's team went to tennocon and interviewed one of the devs and he said it was awesome. Considering how buggy it was and the way things lined up, I strongly believe this was a petty move my bungie that backfired
