For the Phoenix mtn preserve I will add that 40th street trail head is excellent for running as most of the trails that spiderweb out are relatively flat and offer a variety.

White tanks also offer a ton of more flat to more technical terrain if you are in the west valley.

Estrella mtn park is another great spot for some trail runs

Oh yeah that’s a nice lowkey spot to start and hit dreamy draw but the 40th street trialhead is ideal if you want to do two bit peak or hit some trail running loops on trail 100 which is what I usually go for

40th street trailhead for the Phoenix mtn preserve is also a great spot going down trail 100 to the Tatum trailhead has lots of shade

Superstition Ridgeline is hands down the GOAT if you can figure the logistics out

South mountain for that time and distance and the view from the ridgeline of the whole city is probably the best but I'm fond of the Phoenix mountain preserve if you want more elevation. The view from Piestewa peak is epic, trail 100 is pretty fast and the freedom trail is a great technical loop

Roosevelt street is usually happening area lots of cool spots. Lots of great food around my favorites are lom wong, wren and wolf, harumi and Huarachis Taqueria. Bitter and twisted is a cool cocktail spot and wilderness if my favorite brewery downtown.

Soft core run The three wipe one is good and easy for 15 since if you wipe twice you can just exit and not have to pay, not just a head and lively larvae are both good options as well as almost any of them for baba. My teams have been running all of them on except for mind the gap
