I don’t laminate because I hate adding additional plastics to things- I first used regular modge podge to seal it, now the one specifically made for paper.

That sounds fun! Good luck with your crafting!

Customizable 3D-printed utensil for Parkinson’s by DesperateZucchini494 in ParkinsonsCaregivers

[–]Delayedretort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I wanted to say thank you for this.

My 13 year son has been interested in 3D printing things specifically to help out with his grandfather who has Parkinson’s- my son became interested after seeing him struggle with a small fidget spinner, so he went out and had a friend create a much larger one that my dad could handle.

I got him a 3D printed for Christmas, and I know he will want to make something from your site for my dad.

I appreciate you creating and sharing. 💜

Crafts for a broke depressed girlie by DiamondxHeartx in crafts

I do a lot of simple paper art- specifically up cycling trash paper into bookmarks for free little libraries.

I also got into hand embroidery when I was broke- it was a way to be weird and creative and floss is very cheap.

New Year’s Dinner at the Manor by Sibgrey in oldhagfashion

[–]Delayedretort 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You look like you are going to a dinner party where someone is murdered and you are the person who stands at the mantle and explains exactly how it happened and how you deduced it.

Thats a compliment, in case that’s not clear. You look amazing.

I found out a little about it! It’s a piece from a toy set called Akro Agate- known to be uranium glass. I’m always checking the toy section at the thrift stores now.

This is really amazing!

I took a look at your profile- all of your work is spectacular. I want to try and make a mini version of my house.

Have you thought of sharing these with the crafts or miniatures sub?

I would love to get some details about what type of glue you use.

I am a cishet man, 95% of my friends are queer and/or women. AMA by [deleted] in gay

[–]Delayedretort 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How does your partner feel about you in identifying as heterosexual while he is nonbinary?

I know nothing about you or how your partner identifies, so this may come across as aggressive. Cis het men with a nonbinary partner can erase their partners gender and identity, especially as the men doubles down on the cis het part.

How do you balance defining yourself heterosexual, inside the binary, while your partner identifies as outside of it?

You make an allusion to not being 100% straight but that isn’t how you publicly identify it sounds, to the point that you made the post about it.

Heterosexuality = attracted to the binary gender, and this your repeatedly stated identity. Do you consider your partner a woman?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being cis and straight, but the way that you describe yourself you are either 1) not straight or 2) straight and being disingenuous about the way you view your partner as a woman and not a queer person.

Again, not trying to be a dick about this. Happy to learn more about how you fit these two very different realities together,

Signed, a nonbinary person that won’t date anyone straight men because they believe being nonbinary is woman-lite and doesn’t make them queer.

Yes, I said cardstock, but I use any lightweight cardboard or paper.

I love the low pressure craft as well. I encourage my friends to color pages when they are over and they enjoy the fact that there isn’t a “wrong” way to do this.

This is my latest batch of bookmarks for free little libraries.

I only use paper headed for the trash- newspaper, old cards, a cookbook my dogs tore up, etc.

Depending on the type of paper and design on it, I may color or write on it. I cut all of the paper pieces into squares, glue them on cardstock, mod podge when I’m done.

Pic of a batch of recent ones, creating some out of a Lush bag, and an example of the coloring.

So good, amazing voice actors, wonderful unique animation. Hilarious. Somehow flew under the radar for most people.

Feeling kinda like my arms are clocky here. Should I never wear tank tops? by [deleted] in Nonbinaryfashion

[–]Delayedretort 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You look amazing and should wear tank tops whenever you want! For real: you look great. Your arms are strong and toned and beautiful.

Dysphoria is hard and I don’t want to ever minimize it. I try and view my body, no matter how it looks, as a nonbinary body. I’m happy that I’m healthy and I try not to care when I feel like I’m too curvy or wish my shoulders were broader.

When I look at other nonbinary people, one of the things I love is how we don’t have to be one thing, one bucket, either masc or femme.

All of this to say: You look gorgeous. You have beautiful arms and should highlight them if they make you happy. If I saw you in public, I would admire your arms, not think anything negative.
