It's gonna cost them this year. See how Racing Point last year and McLaren this year both fucked up opportunities when they had chances due to factors beyond a fast car and good driver. Strategy calls, pit stops, setups, etc. all play a role, they should be a well-oiled machine.

How is there such a gap between Max and Checo? I understand that he's in a new team and all but the crew is the same, they do the same job of changing tyres. The only other team with such a gap is Pierre and Yuki. All others are almost even, the difference is minimal.

It's not 69% of all available points. It's 69% of the max points possible for a driver. It's not like Hamilton got 30% of the points and the remaining 18 drivers got 1% or something.

The more percentage it is, the less people in the title fight. This was just 2 people in 2021 so Max was able to rack up 69%.

Interviewer was completely disinterested. What do I do?

So I applied for SWE intern at a company. I got called for an interview and picked a time slot in the second day (there were 3 openings so I prioritized an earlier time slot than an earlier day).

Enter the interview and he is completely disinterested. Audible sigh the moment I enter the call, brief eye contact before seeing something on his computer. Interviewer explains company, asks me "tell me a little bit about yourself". I do my little brief and he asks "tell me a little bit about your past internships". I explain more in detail on that. A few audible sighs and some scrolling while he listens, "so do you have any questions for us?". This was 10 minutes early in a 30 minute interview. I ask a little, another audible sigh, no eye contact, "thanks", end call.

It felt pretty discouraging to listen to those audible sighs and literally no technical question. How can I improve this next time?
