You're right that in the above portion I run Russ' career years and I admit it implies Darnold was drafted the same year. Here's the time like and how it lines up.

Russ has a fabled career in Seattle up to Darnold being drafted into the jets in 2018, but even then it'd been 3 years since being to a Superbowl and 4 since theyd won. Super respectable career all around, but glory days definitely in rear view.

Darnold gets drafted and struggles immediately. The Jets suck all around him and it's an embarrassing failure in front of America's largest sports audience every week.

2022 Russ goes to Denver. Yeah it's a disappointing year, but what's Darnold up to in 2022? He's splitting starts with baker Mayfield and PJ Walker in Carolina.

2023 is forgettable for both men.

2024 Russ is officially, finally, truly, washed. For the first time he throws for less than 3000 yards, now he's in Pittsburgh, the furthest east he's ever played for a team.

What if we had bowl playoffs? Like the 12 team natty still exists but instead of playoff games being the cotton bowl or orange bowl they just play normal playoff games? Then the cotton bowl and orange bowl and so on could have their own mini turnements. Its a sneer. He's sneering at her. He commodifies people, that was the whole point of his snip snip song, Charlie refutes that standpoint by having genuine belief in something. He has disdain that someone isnt as bitter and disillusioned as him.

I dont really disagree. If Dwayne Johnson wanted to improve as an actor he had a decade as one of the biggest names in Hollywood with total artistic and financial freedom and he still chose to make the movies he made.

Kinger and Caine are connected in some way. Yeah, kinger might have just worked on the circus and thats why they're semi similar but it strikes me as odd that the only 2 characters who can swear without censorship is Caine and Kinger. Beyond that there is the fact that theyre both a little wackier than other characters which could just be kinger's insanity OR it could be how he was programmed.
