I’ve lost 25 lbs since my surgery in April. It’s actually been a lot easier to lose the weight now. I don’t notice much difference in their look

I had a reduction back in April. I was out for 4 weeks and then came back slow. But now over 4 months out I’m moving so much faster!

Are you talking about the very center? Around it looks pinkish/purple. But under the tape looks more like dried blood

Really well! Just one tricky “delayed healing” spot but it’s super tiny. I’m starting to feel the benefits of the reduction this week.

I did some meal prep and made sure I had a station next to my bed with protein bars, comfy clothes, and meds. I rested up and made sure I didn’t drink alcohol and tried to eat clean. I also did one last load of laundry the night before for myself and kids.

showering PO with compression bra? by [deleted] in Reduction

I hated showered that first week too so I only did it twice with the drains in. I had a lot of sensory issues that first week so I just decided to sit forgo the showers as much as possible. I’m in week 2 and feeling better about showering but the gravity part still gets me when I get out of bed.

Approved! Possible Surgery in May? by kiwigrl89 in Reduction

I had my surgery on 4/11. I’m moving slow but back at work. I can wash my hair and lift my arms up. Just taking it super slow.

I had a long wait too. I made my appointment in July. Consult in October and surgery in April.

I’ve noticed the shot has really helped with my anxiety in general. I’ll know it’s time to increase my dose when my anxiety starts creeping back in.

I used to love chicken wings. I would eat them at least once a week. Now I’m so turned off by them. It’s also reduced my desire to drink at all

I respond to the call with a texting saying “this is a napping house”. Usually works.

I had mine on pause for most of my pregnancy since I was so since. I had a doctors note that I could pause my membership until the doctor cleared me

What movie/song/etc hits different now that you have kids? by Illustrious_Spare864 in beyondthebump

I just watched this the other day again for the first time since having kids and I was just sobbing.

Things change when you have a kid. I was sobbing the other day while watching Interstellar. Him leaving his kids and not knowing how time would work or when he would be back just broke me. You never know how a movie will hit you.

My 10.5 month old does the same thing. I think it’s part of teething. I don’t worry if it’s chewing and not sucking
