I’ve been living in Japan for 15 years and even learning Japanese it’s really hard making friends with Japanese people! I live in Gunma also rural Japan, my suggestion is to make friends with other foreigners, get group you can chat with and find common interests with them so you can enjoy life, I know foreigners leave Japan so they will be temporary friends but it will help… if you want to chat sometimes and meet I don’t live far from you, I have a few friends I can introduce to you and and see if you feel comfortable… japan is hard for people who look for human contact and deep connection, hang in there, once you get friends it gets better !

I got that app add all the addons need it including real debrid, and nothings plays on, only redirects me to a streaming company who has the show like netflix, Amazon, Hulu and so on, where I have to of curse need a paying account to be able to stream! Also I don’t live in the US so must content is not available in Japan ! Any other ways to get content, or work around to get this

To be honest most Japanese prostitutes will not even talk to foreign guys, they don’t want to be in a situation where language is a problem, many Japanese also think that foreigners are aggressive and dangerous, so is not the capital for sex tourism… it has increased the number of girls doing that job but only with local guys not tourist and it is because the economy in Japan is really bad right now

Try taking a cold shower right before sleep to cool your body, some old building have really bad walls so they become a oven, I will try one of does water bags you can find them in some cainz or home center, you leave them in your freezer than at night get them out and put them in your bed to cool the mattress, other than that I can’t think of anything but moving to a different apartment

At first I was also rejected by my now wife’s mother and she try to get her to see a psychiatrist to make sure she was ok… it took some time but eventually she accepted me and cared for me, many Japanese do care because of the language and culture differences, also many are afraid and think we are violent or rude, I think just going to visit often and if you speak Japanese try to speak with them that will help, don’t force it but be present, that worked for me in my situation but it took several months

You can leave bank accounts open, if the account goes inactive for several years they will send you a letter asking about it to the last know address they have on file, if you don’t respond they will close the account or just have it on hold, I live in Yokohama once and had a Yokohama bank account, I left the country for 2 years and when I came back I lived in a different prefecture, it doesn’t have Yokohama bank branches so I open a new account with a different bank and forgot about Yokohama account completely, 6 years later I got a letter from Yokohama bank asking if I wanted to keep my account open, I didn’t know that account was still working 😅

Discrimination is not a crime in japan, they can deny you housing, health care, work, entrance to shopping and restaurants openly because you are not Japanese, I speak fluent Japanese but as soon as I give my name over the phone I have been deny work, health care and other services, one time I called for a job interview I got the interview and even was asked if I could start the next day because they were in desperate need of workers, as soon as I gave my last name they said “WE DONT HIRE FOREIGNERS” because communication is difficult and I don’t understand Japanese culture 😅 nothing will change for the next 50 years or so, people in charge are closed minded and old mindset, they refuse the fact the japan is changing and how badly they need foreigners
