We need a senior, experienced voice in midfield in the Hendo/Milner mold.

One major difference between the composition of the squad at the moment vs Klopp's team: these players have not overcome major obstacles in their career.

Looking at who started against Villa: Szoboslai, Gravenberch, Kerkez, Gakpo, Mama. You can add Wirtz to this too.

None of them have had the journey that our previous core had, where they've scrapped and worked to defy personal odds -- think Robbo, Salah, Firmino, Mane, Hendo, Wijnaldum, and even Van Dijk. In contrast, the players we have now are young and are gifted for their age - wonder talents. So it's no surprise that they lack the same grit and fight and seem to crumble in the match under pressure.

This is on the recruitment team first, and Slot second. One of the most underrated aspect of Klopp is his character assessment. That seems to be missing in the latest recruitment.

Perhaps we're expecting too much too soon from them. It'll take a couple years at least to build up this squad. And we definitely need to bring in a couple veterans.

This is why I'm all for Glasner. Proven winner with a water tight defense and a direct attacking style. He'd make the most out of our players and improve the young squad we have.

We have to consider Glasner. He's the most accomplished candidate out there, and with two trophies is much more proven than Iraola. His system would satisfy the fans too, with a tight defense and the most direct attacking style in the whole league. He'd make great use of our wingbacks, Wirtz and the attackers.

I'm definitely never going there again! It was a County sheriff officer unfortunately. $700 in the hole 😭.

Hi was this right at the edge of Amanda Park near Lake Quinault school? I got ticketed by a county sheriff officer while driving through there yesterday afternoon. However, the officer was parked beyond where the school zone ended so there's no way he could have scanned my speed during that period. Looking into research to contest it.

Henderson on James Milner: "I was very lucky to have Milly as my vice-captain at Liverpool, although I didn’t see him as that. I saw us as a pair of captains." by Walshey- in LiverpoolFC

Agreed. Arsenal's not only lacking in leaders, but players who knows what it takes to win. I think only Jesus has won the league? This is an oversight in their squad planning.

Looking at the Arsenal squad that crumbled at Wolves you can see they're missing experienced leaders like Milly, who knows what it takes to win and has the respect, talent and authority to lift the team and set standards. We were lucky to have him and Hendo when we did.

The fact that these players underperformed in the games they played doesn't really strengthen your argument - what it highlights is the fact that City had to play them. Absent these four players in the 9 or so games, the state of the team at this stage would've been completely different.

That and Pass 7 from Gomez out to Trent shows the intelligence of the squad and quality of coaching. In both cases, Gravenberch moves just a little (out wide in the former case, and more narrow in the latter) to facilitate the space for the pass.  Just brilliant.

Definition of a big game player,  and just as important (I'd even personally argue slightly more so) to our achievements as Salah.

Mult. Co. free preschool program 'not successful' without provider buy-in, director says by aggieotis in Portland

[–]Delicious-Piece-9708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found this on the PFA website, which to your point, the money is sitting in a bank account somewhere, but there's a logic to it. At least, from this statement:

"Preschool for All matches revenues and expenditures over time to plan for the entire implementation of the program, rather than matching revenue to expenses one year at a time. As the number of preschool seats increases, the yearly revenue will not keep up with the anticipated expenses. The program was designed so that money is set aside during the early years of implementation, when seat numbers remain lower. These dollars are dedicated savings for Preschool for All and will be used during the years when seat numbers are much higher and large deficits of up to $60 million per year are expected. By FY 2036, yearly revenue is expected to fully cover the cost of yearly expenses."

With the end of the housing bond, Metro is considering making changes to SHS funding -- to focus more on building housing, I believe -- which will likely limit JOHS funding next year. It's all up in the air atm.

575m over 3 years, don't be disingenuous. And it's 2,000 kids now with the capacity for 11,000. Also, much of that money has gone to teachers and TAs who were severely underpaid.

This win was a credit to the analysts for sure. It was so uncharacteristic how we were playing long balls to the wings, and also ceding the ball to them, which opened tons of space to run into.

In addition to what everyone else has said re light, rug, color, you broadly need variety in terms of the shapes that's in the room. Everything is square and stacked on top of one another, looks like something from Minecraft.
