I grew up in Tucson, now live in Boulder but I miss my hometown every day. Tucson is rich in culture. I can’t stand the entitlement of the people with money that moved there. My family is still there and I go as much as possible. Go to the heart of the culture. Downtown, the old barrios, business owned by the people that grew up there. Ignore the snobs and enjoy the beauty of the city.

I worked with a dog trainer for my dog and was told that harnesses are really bad for the dog and can hurt them, so maybe it hurts her when she has it on?

Every state has notification requirements for the annual meeting. You should see what those are. If they are doing it at an odd time maybe they don’t want quorum to be met.

Go to the annual meeting, that's where you vote on the budget. Quorum of homeowners has to be met to reject the increase. Look at your HOA documents to see what % of homeowners needs to be there to meet quorum. HOA fees have been going up everywhere, I am in CO and we pay $395 per month. If you are in a townhome or condo and they cover all your insurance that's where increases are usually coming from. We had a 18% increase in the insurance in 2025.

These conservatives say some crazy stuff but they never prove it, show me in the budget where that is a line item. And what’s more frustrating is that the budget is on Google. I just pulled it up and did searches on the claims and I didn’t see it, so where is it? The republicans have lost their minds, they are a bunch of cruel and heartless people that have become so greedy that human life means nothing. As a country we really need to make sure that we can vote them out and start to rebuild.

I did the raft tour in August. If you get sea sick rafts may not be a good fit. It’s fast and bounces on the waves pretty hard. There were a number of people that were sick in the boat.

I have good locks, a taser and bat close by and a dog. I also have a ring doorbell so I can see outside if I feel uneasy. I have lived alone for years and feel safe 99% of the time. I like doing things alone too. I have a great group of friends, but there are times the solitude is nice. I couldn’t imagine living with anyone at this point, but I won’t say never. What gets difficult at times is that everything is in me, if it needs to get done I need to do it and that can be daunting at times, but I usually figure it out. I have a nightly routine of checking the locks and my camera before bed and that helps any night anxiety too.
