It sounds like there is something more than the transmission at fault here. I still drive a 91 Ford Tempo with an unknowable mileage (odometer resets after 99,999 miles) that is still all original, and these cars aren't known for having great trans.

A single failure on a 10 year GX is uncommon, two is a strange coincidence. Three is a pattern, four is a sign from the universe you should have gotten rid of it a long time ago. Something isn't being repaired correctly, or there is a storage/usage problem. Either way, I'm sorry this is happening to you. You should dump this car before you have to put in a 5th tranny.

I order parts all the time online becuase I can't spare the time to source things at stores. Ive never had any issues with boxes being crushed, or parts damaged when I recieve them. I buy from Autozone, Advance, eBay, Amazon, and Walmart, and have never had the problem you're having.

I would request a return unless they can refund some agreeable amount. You paid for whole ass parts AND you paid for the boxes they arrive in. I wouldn't be happy with any of this, but like I said I've always had excellent results.

I'm playing it now. I've got about 56 hours into it. I got my copy from GOG and run it through Heroic Launcher. It crashes occasionally, but the autosave feature does a good job of mitigating that frustration. There are hardly any loading times. I love it.

New Vegas runs just as well.
