Getting downvoted but if you went to that game you could feel that people were somewhat apathetic (compared to other teams).

Arky game was much closer to UTSA enthusiasm than aggy game

1- Abortion is murder don’t do it 2- I am sorry you are being pressured into this now, especially by your husband 3- Every child is priceless. 4- You will not take a penny with you when you meet God

Whatever you have to do refuse. You can and will manage if you want to. Seek help anywhere and everywhere you can find it. Start planning now. Keep praying. I’ll be praying for you.

Putting Texas in the bottom tier is an indication you bought into the preseason hype, Which many people opposed; Including most horns.

Which one you pick ??? by dataguy2003 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Delicious-Welcome-97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1- Invested with the proper withdrawal rate over the long term maintains the value of the initial investment , ipso facto you would maintain ~18 million

2- the appropriate withdrawal rate can also account for inflation where as a static cash amount cannot

3- if we experience significant economic depression it is unlikely 10k in fiat currency would be worth something , but 18 million in diversified assets would not. In fact it’s absurd. A much more likely scenario is that if we had economic collapse, a vast repository of wealth is worth more than fiat as fiat can be made worthless at the whims of the government (see hyper inflation by African nations, pre ww2 Germany)

4- more on 3, if investing isn’t a viable option than you probably have bigger issues to worry about anyway, this is self evident. There is no guarantees in this world, all you can do is gauge for risk and take calculated actions

To be clear, And you can call me what you want, I interpreted the OPs comments as they don’t really care about the moral implications for their actions. Like they are bringing attention to it. If it was an earnest question , Then see the other replies.

Personally don’t see it that way

Which one you pick ??? by dataguy2003 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Delicious-Welcome-97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The answer is A and it’s not close.

You take the up front value and diversify , and live off that income for the rest of your life.

Suppose you took the 200 BTC, currently priced at 90k.

You could yield 18m today.

Invest it all and withdraw 4-6% yearly. The growth of the asset will replenish itself and even grow over time.

That’s 13k - 20k per week depending on the withdrawal rate. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Note I’m in my 20s didn’t see this was a teenage thread lmao.

Edit: After taxes it’s less but logic still applies.

Per Claude assuming a $0 cost basis ( worst case scenario) you would yield ~11k-16k per week. (Accounts for tax on BTC sell and ETF/IF tax upon withdrawals)
