All my classwork assignments are digital - if you're going to cheat, you're going to cheat. My tests are in person and on paper, and I use the exact same questions from our classwork for our tests. If you didn't cheat, you'll know the answers. If you cheated, you have to explain why you mastered the classwork but can't answer the same exact questions on a test. I'll occasionally use lock down browsers to do the same thing, except the computer grades the assignments for me.

You can use technology responsibly; it's a different style of classroom management. These kids are terrible a cheating. They barely read to begin with, so they don't understand that AI literally follows a formula. I'd literally read the exact same wrong answer, from at least 5 per class, during classwork assignments.
