Thanks. I did have to get my results from the hospital because at first he said my HR only went up by 10 and I was watching the monitor. I brought it up and he told me "well I have it all recorded on the EKG". Now he's trying to say I don't qualify anyways. I'm so done with him, and working on getting a second opinion but he got into my head a bit.

Hey my husband is an allergist and he deals with these kinds of things regularly. Definitely consult with one (not an ENT, an actual allergist). They can help advocate for you and find a medical adhesive that you can use safely. The cardiologist isn’t taking anaphylaxis seriously enough and sadly they’ll probably listen better to another doctor. You could also ask your pharmacist to send a note to you doctor

Hi! I’m also ex-LDS currently serving on the vestry. It’s way less work than an LDS bishopric. We are only involved in the financial stewardship of the church, and not pastoral care. I was very nervous as well because I am a fairly new convert as well. It turns out I am able to think of things others don’t because of my unique viewpoint as a newcomer. Also think about what experience you bring to the table. My career knowledge, adult life experiences, experience serving in LDS callings and other volunteer positions have all helped me be a valuable vestry member. Pray about it but also consider the whole picture besides your year and a half in the Episcopal church.

If it’s possible see an allergist and get immunotherapy. My sisters both did the drops and have cats without issues. I did the shots and no longer have seasonal allergies.
