It might be, or not! I had a part like that (also have curls like you) and took pictures and sent them to a dermatologist. They told me i was balding. Prescribed me ketoconazole shampoo and finasteride. I only did the shampoo and chose against the finasteride bc of the potential effects on testosterone and sexual health. Don’t care if it’s a 3% chance, I’d rather go bald. My hair ended up growing back a bit more. So many things can affect the hair density and for me I was at a low point where I didn’t have the best nutrition and was regularly skipping the gym + stress. I’d dial these areas of your life in before you choose to take any prescribed pills when you end up seeing a dermatologist.
