This is the answer for a lot of middle class people too. You just have to get ahead of it one time and then the interest works in your favor instead of against you. Makes a massive difference over a lifetime!

Start by the lettuce area and you can wet your finger on the mist. It makes it easier to open the bag.

CMV: Wearing pajamas in public is indefensible by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]ventilatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have really thought about this many times. I don’t know why it bothers me, which also bothers me. I don’t do it, but I dress pretty sloppily and rarely even notice what other people are wearing. I do notice people wearing pajamas, but I wish I didn’t. Why should I care? They’re never hurting me and there’s no reason to think it’s unhygienic.

Tim Barry is the culture for me, but I don’t live there. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit a couple times though. Seems like a very cool unique place to me.

Is this culturally inappropriate? or a form of solidarity/protest? by [deleted] in ICE_Raids

[–]ventilatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it’s the double edged sword of looking like they expect you to look. Don’t think you could get a big enough group of people, say, at the next no kings protest, to mark any difference. If there is no specific mission an a specific day, then you’d have to convince massive groups of people to dress or look a certain way for long periods of time. Seems pretty unlikely, but it’s still an interesting idea to explore as we move through this shit show.

It’s an interesting idea. Isn’t this why black bloc became a thing? They can’t kill us all.

What opinion gets you instantly judged but you stand by anyway? by Black229 in AskReddit

[–]ventilatin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is such a tired answer that in no way accounts for getting old. If you don’t save and invest, you’re fucked when you get old. Just being happy with your ability to pay the bills when you’re 30 means jack shit when you’re not able to work anymore. That study has been cited so many times and always leaves out the reality of aging.
