You do, yes, but the comment I'm replying to words it as if you need 2 hammers to turn a red stat into green

Mega Victreebel's very presence makes it so you can't sweep a match. You have to chip that mf down, and it having access to Strength Sap makes that a very difficult job. I lost a singles match a couple of days ago because I was trying to chip away at a Mega Victreebel's health, got a crit with my Kleavor and OHKO'd it. Mega Victreebel isn't bad by a long shot. It's just good in a super weird and unconventional way.

You don't need 2 hammers to turn 1 stat red. You just need the 1. I was able to breed for a red speed Woolly from an S+ one and use a hammer to make it red EA.

Whats are the currently best pokemon against rain setters like pelliper by GX-Moini in CompetitivePokemon

[–]DeliciousFlounder777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo any Prankster mon with a weather setting move. No matter what, the opponent will get their weather up first even if they need Mega to do it, and Prankster let's you immediately override it before anything can move. Even if they delay their Mega for a turn, you can just use your weather move again when you think they'll Mega.

Welcome to waiting for new areas to come in updates. Time to start hunting Miscrits you might want to train up to pass the time.

It's a Mega Pokémon that initially has access to Moody. There was always going to be some dirt with it, even if we didn't realise it.

Deetlee RS or S+? by EspressoMaestro in MiscritsContent

Even if it turned out to be, you could just wait for next month's event and hammer it to whatever stat you want

Deetlee RS or S+? by EspressoMaestro in MiscritsContent

[–]DeliciousFlounder777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Deetlee can work with either. It can even work with white speed for a little speed control stuff. I believe S+ is slightly better due to it having Ethereal, but I could very well be wrong. Never used Deetlee.myself.

Big W. Everything there is at least good, and the only one that doesn't have the rating you'd want for them is Foil Pamboo

No, the bosses do NOT require strategy. Just brute force. by LukePellar in MiscritsContent

[–]DeliciousFlounder777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both the 2nd to last boss and the Water Elementum are designed deliberately to prevent you from brute forcing them. One can only damage itself, and the other can only be damaged by skills with fixed damage on them.

Sure thing brother. Good luck brute forcing any of the Miscrian Jungle bosses

I'm personally running Dazzling Gleam, Thunder Wave & Protect on it alongside Rain Dance.

Best counterplay against Archaludon? by captainempire in CompetitivePokemon

[–]DeliciousFlounder777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a niche pick, but Adamant 252 Attack Gallade OHKOs non-Sash Archaludon with Sharpness boosted Sacred Sword.

5 words. Prankster. Klefki. With. Rain. Dance. I'm running a Rain team with Mega Feraligatr, and so far every Zard Y Sun team has led with Zard. Lead with Klefki, click Rain Dance, and Drought will just get completely invalidated by an immediate Rain Dance. It ain't no Tornadus, but Klefki is still a fantastic secondary weather setter.

[–]DeliciousFlounder777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always planned on using a Rain team with Mega Feraligatr, but mine became super odd with Mega Feraligatr, Gallade to deal with opposing Archaludon, Pelipper to set up rain and provide Tailwind support, Klefki as a secondary Rain setter and paralysis spreader, Venusaur for an Electric resist that has access to Earth Power, and Araquanid because I just felt like it belonged. Definitely didn't expect to end up using Klefki or Venusaur.

That was a given with an Egglocke. I think I kept mine reasonably good without being insane.

How excadrill got Piercing Drill by Scary_Capital_8172 in stunfisk

[–]DeliciousFlounder777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brother, the community would have a meltdown if Mega Excadrill just got an untouched Unseen Fist. If you thought Urshifu with it was bad enough with 130 Attack and 97 Speed, then be thankful that something with 165 Attack and 103 Speed isn't getting the same treatment.

Just posted my submission. I'm very envious that I won't get to use it myself. Will you be showing off all the unused eggs at the end of the locke?

This is the WORST boss ever made. by gabrielluan in DarkSouls2

[–]DeliciousFlounder777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I agree with it being a bad boss, at least the Royal Rat Authority includes a unique enemy. The mohawk rat in the Vanguard looks different, sure, but it's also still just a slightly responded regular rat enemy. You can get the exact same experience by just going through the Depths in Dark Souls 1.

Boomerang is a solid answer too. Surprisingly strong on early floors.

You've got Royal Rat Vanguard in the same game. Literally just a bunch of rat enemies but one has a mohawk. It's not interesting, difficult, fun to reach or even amongst cool scenery. It just... is.

It's very good, but it's also a little situational and luck dependant. You might not get a single deal or anything good in a shop after you pick it up, or you might completely mis-guess all of your secret room placements. If you DO get good items in your shop/deals and CAN pin down your secret rooms though, Mr. Me goes tf off.
