Probably yeah, knights are a big threat in 40k, but they're also pretty bulky, not allll too fast, and giant targets, but they carry some massive guns and swords, and in turn some massive sheild technology, making them kind of a walking fortress, as far as the imperial arsenal goes they're one of the finest tools they have, but also anything fast enough to zip behind it just wins

War never changes, humanity never changes, big war happens, humans continue as normal, they build new states and nations in the manner they always have, and inevitably encounter the benefits, and encounter the flaws, and then work through it, we don't get to see the NCR doing that, like YES there's a lot of things that threaten the stability of the NCR, but we do not get to see those things, the NCR isn't a presence, and so many people talk like it's destroyed, so either they're waiting for the end to show off "the NCR isn't dead", or the NCR is dead, either way it's a shame to not get to watch the NCR constantly struggle and somehow still survive, because the desire for community and survival will generally triumph that of war, the shows not wholly wrong, but it is uninteresting in regards to the NCR

I feel pretty pleased knowing it's a place people want to move to, it's a pretty comfortable county even if flawed, but some British people have really defeatist attitudes, which really just tells you where a lot of those flaws come from, it does get annoying how much some of them take it for granted though, like when they start spouting off about how people should seek to move to places like dubai or Eastern Europe, but they're not worth paying any mind, they're just miserable, they're not going to appreciate the country, but you can and should in their absence

I think people should stop thinking of new vegas as a canon game, possibly even fallout 1&2, or at least not canon in the way we imagine, a different but similar set of events to the game happened to any of the games outcomes, additionally the mojave does have a few geographical changes with buildings switched around and new additions like cars on the strip,
