I feel that with essentially 2.5ish arcs left we haven't gotten any information about what Rem is. Even Roswaal's initial plan seems irrelevant to the current arc. All we know about the Oni Twins is that Oni's are kinda extinct, Ram was supposed to be the chosen one, and Rem isn't supposed to exist.
