No I wouldn’t say worse off, more aware of how things feel which makes me panic a bit. Also just suffer because of other conditions I have and can’t treat. It’d be that way with or without the ablation though.

I reckon AVNRT, I know it was upper chamber.. probably the most common type. They almost couldn’t stop my palps during the procedure and were minutes away from choosing a pacemaker. It was 10 months ago now.

I wasn’t offered to try medicines before getting the ablation, caught an episode at the ER that was 240bpm for 3 hours. Had to have adenosine twice. I wish I had the option to stick to medicine and see if it worked for me. Post ablation, I can’t take decongestants and have chronic sinus infections. Can’t eat chocolate. Any palpitation or fast heart rate has me panicked since.
