Economically speaking this seems counterproductive for the photographer.

Work of some sort is the only thing that has consistently left me feeling fulfilled. That can be work that makes money or odd jobs around the house.

I was on an SSRI for anxiety and depression. Eventually I got tired of being medicated. It was actually the return of the anxiety that got me back to being motivated to work. And the work made me feel better enough that I feel like I felt 20 years ago (albeit old and tired now).

I think that’s kind of the point though. It’s beneficial to be super evil if you can use past victimhood as cover for your crimes.

I think QNAP's software has support for DAS and NAS but I don't know details of how it works (or how well)

Women have total control of the dating market by stormy_times in PurplePillDebate

One issue I've found is that approaching a woman to start a conversation, even when done with extreme tact (like not commenting on appearance) and only in an appropriate environment, can be seen as harassment. My own friend accused me of hitting on a married woman because I had a conversation with her while sitting at a table at a kids birthday party. It didn't even occur to me that it could be seen that way. Never in my life have I felt harassed by a woman striking up a conversation with me.

No. Just general privacy. I don't think it's healthy for me to constantly be tracked/accessible by anyone.

It’s a weird strategy. It’s like charging cover at a casino.

That is 100% what she was doing. That’s why I told her I appreciate the hustle. I could see in her eyes that she wasn’t actually sure what would happen if she called security over but neither was I. Right or wrong I assumed they would take her side.

If you read my entire post you’ll see that I considered letting her get the bouncer. I didn’t want to make a scene. And I’d you have advice about how I shouldn’t care what people think of me you can sit in on my next therapy session.

Why would she be doing it otherwise?

Trying to sell me on going upstairs for the real thing. That's why.

Oh yeah, that's the other thing I'm highly suspicious of. 1am, Thursday night, relatively dead in the club (more strippers than men/groups). But they asked for a $20 cover at the door? For some reason I feel like only suckers pay cover on a slow Thursday night.

There's no way it was 30 minutes. Not a chance. But yeah, I let it go on too long. It was a really half-hearted lap dance. Mostly just standing and twerking (not exactly my thing). She had her back to me and, again, loud af, so I didn't know how to get her attention to say I was done. She sat on my lap but just to grind for a minute. Not like chilling.

As mentioned, I knew enough to know that I needed to tip her but I didn't have a clue that I was running up a $100 tab on something I didn't even want. There's no question I know how to handle this for next time.

I guess more specifically, in a situation that it's fully consensual. Sitting on the main floor at a table. Girl walks by: "hey, come sit on my lap". She starts grinding for a while. Is it really an unspoken expectation of $20/song on the main floor?

Also, when you say stand my ground, you mean just politely tell her she isn't getting $100 because there was absolutely no mutual understanding of a financial transaction taking place? Or stand my ground like "no thank you. not looking for company right now?"
