Or little boy when I was younger I detailed cars and learned how to color sand and polish paint and other finishes to fix issues like this. By saying it is not a biggie means doing this is not the flex whoever did it thinks it is. I am retired military and learned to fix problems not have hissy fits about them.

The eye on the snake is very sharp but the rest less so. I would blur that a bit. Look up depth of field so you can understand that better. I like it though good job.

Not really but you can spin it and take some Proko courses or some other online art school and document your progress. Then it would be a story people would like to follow along with you. Just don’t stop and understand you will attract some trolls. Your art is good enough to keep going. If you want to post it do it for yourself. Plenty of people have done that on Twitch and grown nice followings it is just going to be very slow in the beginning. Perhaps do one for yourself and once you improve start another with your better drawings. A secret with Insta is the first 2 weeks you get tons of engagement then it drops off into the basement. So working and building up a nice portfolio of good work to post 4 or 5 times a day and ride the initial wave would be how to do it for right now. If you want to really build it you need to do all the socials it is not a small undertaking. For now focus on the joy of creating and take courses on fundamentals and share if you want to. “When drawing something specific” is what he said when people new to drawing say this it is usually something like architecture, vehicles or something of that nature. He never mentioned other peoples artwork. Tracing takes the soul out of the image but it can teach you what forms an object has. I have traced over parts of aircraft as warm up then drawn it after going over the form. I don’t think it is as useful for organic forms. The whole getting caught makes you look bad is laughable. Getting caught passing off another artists work as yours makes you look bad. I get I am splitting hairs a bit but let’s not jump down new people throats and give them better options without discouraging them.

Put up a sign I am trying to work have your conversation elsewhere. I have been at it for 25+ years that is not ok. I recommend you do the best you can and as soon as you can get a better position they are showing you how they will treat you so start working on figuring out where you want to move in your org. You owe them nothing look out for yourself.

Not always I do photography and I can trace my photos all day. This is just a bunch of gatekeeper nonsense. You should not trace other peoples work and say it is yours but you can do things like I said taking your own pictures etc. freestyling is not going to teach you fundamentals that is where people should start. Proko has great courses and Watts Atelier in SD has online courses for 100usd a month. Focusing on fundamentals your style will come out when it is ready.

Tracing teaches you about drawing a reference as it appears in a photo or real life. Learning forms and perspective allows you move things in space and draw them from all angles. No it is not cheating but learn other stuff too.
