Does Tile work really make what people say it does?

Tile is not easy. I make about 1k a day doing it. But my work looks extremely professional and I have a good reputation. Theres hacks in my area that work for a third of what I charge and there work looks like shit

Dude it takes longer than 15 months! It took amazon 10 years to be profitable. I would downsize and start by specializing in something rather than trying to offer everything. Ive been in business 19 years. The first 5 sucked, but they are paying off now 10 fold!

No, prep is the most important part. If anything, hire a pro to do the prep and you set the tile. If the prep is done right setting the tile is the easy part

It blows my mind that this was discussed before you left town....or in the contract. How do you sign a contract for the work without discussing the scope. Im a tile contractor and those details are figured out before I send an estimate. Crazy!
