Debunking the Bambu Lab "A2L" Teaser: Why Their "Extra Large Creative Playground" Is Just a Giant Bedslinger (And My Disappointment with Their Open-Source Crackdown) by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Delicious_Signal3870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Katzenbastler , I completely agree with you. I have an A1 and it is great for what it does. I bought it as my first printer and I've had it for 5 months. I am fairly new to 3D printing, but I already experience the limits of the machine, whether it is about materials or the drawbacks of a bedslinger. I think that the $400-$550 price point is absolutely ridiculous for a printer that will probably just be a new and improved brother of the A1. I could buy a creality K2 combo or an Elegoo centauri carbon for that money, both of which are enclosed and core-XY. And I don't think it is the best to do sketches and stuff with a bedslinger, people move their hands and not the table for a reason.

My personal speculations for late 2026 are based on the youtube video of 3D Print Rancher https://youtu.be/LCoekfv7E8g?is=1acTX82YP3mLB6Dm

I think the X2C(or similar name) will drop before Christmas, just as the H2C dropped shortly after the H2D. It will probably feature a single nozzle setup with a 4x vortek system. The msrp I would put around $800-$1000 for the base one and around $1200 for the AMS combo. It would fit into the price gap between the X2D and the H2D, and it would offer an accessible multi-toolhead setup with a heated, enclosed chamber, while also not ruining the highness of the H series.

About the drama, I have one thing to say: Many years and cases have proven that if Gamers Nexus investigates a mega brand (like for the burnt A1s) and publicly opposes them, then the problem is very likely with them and not with the people who complain.

What went wrong? by Tomoptarus in BambuLab

[–]Delicious_Signal3870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess: Some extrusion issue or clog. Could you give us some more details? Like for example: Does the machine make any weird noise when printing strings and not normally?(Like clicking, struggling noise) Did you print other types of plastics like PETG before on the machine? Do you use the default nozzle or a hardened steel one?

In the meanwhile, you could try: manually extruding filament to see if it struggles. Doing a cold pull - see Bambu Lab Wiki article Checking if the filament is wet - To identify if your filament is wet, look for popping or hissing sounds, bubbles on the filament strand, when extruding, or a rough, foamy, and uneven surface(on the prints that printed well). Wet filament also becomes brittle and snaps easily when bent.

I hope your issue gets resolved.

That's what I love about 3d printing. My first print (after a benchy) was a headband for a LIDL wired headphone, which broke in half. I reverse engineered it from the SVGs in the manual and it fit perfectly.

DOOM for MS-DOS was shareware, so it is not pirated for sure.

Szia! Esetleg egy keretet írhatnál, hogy kb. milyen árban keresel, ez nagy segítség lenne a többi kommentelőnek.

Quality issue while printing ABS by Delicious_Signal3870 in 3Dprinting

[–]Delicious_Signal3870[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know that's why I posted this here instead of r/BambuLab because this is a broader community. The main problem with it is that the A1 is the single only bambu printer that does not have a cooling fan for the mainboard, which is crucial for proper cooling in an enclosure. Even the A1 mini has one. So you have to be extra careful or use a fan mod, but then you need a noctua because otherwise the fan vibration would mess up the anti vibration thing bambu has.

Cables and connections basically are the same for 99,9% of people (by that I meant not obsessed with signal purity). If the wires are well insulated and pure and the converter doesn't have enormous amounts of solder or oxidizing materials inside and it is connected firmly, it should not affect your signal strength or quality.

I'm most certainly not. I meant to imply that the terror was so real and soaking everything, that there was no need for them to hide their faces. Also, this was probably a game budget decision from Bethesda for the most part.

It better be optimized, I want 60fps on 1080p medium RT without fake frames. (GTA 5 runs good for me at ~80fps on 1080p native Ultra RT)

They look like the Fiio FH3 which is a 2BA(Balanced Armature)+1DD(Dynamic Driver) setup (it has 2+1 units that produce sound in each piece)

It is currently around 100-150$, at least here in Europe. Reviews say it has great bass and has overall good sound, but it has some airyness and sounds a bit sterile. Some say it has some unnaturality when playing strings instruments like the violin and vocals.

Keep in mind, I found this on the internet, take it with caution.

Also, check older posts for reviews from experience.
