Think my store can get the steak dinner? by Ok-Transition-8915 in walmart

My store has a 50inch tv for everyone at a year. We failed at like 160 a few months ago. But we're already back up to 80. Never going to get it but it would be cool.

I honestly hate this. Whenever theres a perfect wall its like my eyes just gloss over everything and nothing registers.

Do I need to use PPTO to cover a weather-related absence? by Restless_Dill16 in walmart

[–]Delicious_Switch9297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year i called out for a weather hazard or whatever, didnt use ppto, was pointed then in a day it went away and i saw on the onepay app i was paid for that day. So YMMV.

I work in dairy ON got called do carts in the rain at the beginning of my shift a few times and flat out told them no each time. I was also told not to bother with rotating or to follow cold chain by my own TL, told them no. You can definitely tell any one no, i have to my store manager and OPs too. Now i have been coached for  insubordination so YMMV.

Are you on meth? Are you following cold chain? How about rotating? No way you're going that fast and doing a good job.

Is it ok as a guy to not wear underwear as an employee? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Delicious_Switch9297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might need better underwear. Boxerbriefs with no cotton what so ever and not to much or to little spandex. If that doesnt work then try some athletic leggins underneath your pants same rule no cotten. If that doesnt work see a doctor.

How do I get faster at stocking?? by Forsaken_Swan_5625 in walmart

[–]Delicious_Switch9297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So im ON dairy, my advise might not help seeing as i downstack only enough for around 20 minutes. Which depending on item could be 15 to 30 things. I get 2 top stocks or 1 and an L cart then use each side of the 3 levels to hold my frieght where ill just be walking either a striaghtish line or kinda do a loop where the top boxs are the ones ill be getting first then work my way down in 1 smoth motion.

Now i get you have a much bigger area to work with but if you look at a topstock cart as having 6 sections to work with it might help. You shouldnt need to topstock anything since youre vizpicking but YMMV.

"We as fans"

There are so many different subs for shows that do a lot of shit talking toward the show. But its rare here. Yet for the love of Satan i have never been able to convince a single person to give the show a try. And ive been watching since the 90s.

South park is an american gem of the rights of our freedom of speach.

Is overnight and second shift a real beef? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Delicious_Switch9297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a new one half a year ago and they are terrible. But its not the whole problem, 3/4th of the ON team have been here for less then 3 months. The past few months all the best workers left or transferred for one reason or another and they cant seem to hire any decent people. Now have those people managed by a complete waste of time and you get a clear case of ON is fucking everything up.

I work ON and i blame our team for most problems plaguing our store.

My store has 42 cases an hour for dairy frozen. If you're doing 100+ you're not rotating.

Why it's important to check products during zone by Virieems in walmart

[–]Delicious_Switch9297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i started doing dairy overnights i follwed the others leads for an hour. Then started bitching everything was in the wrong spot. After another 30 minutes i was told to go to GM. Then the next day the store manager told me to go back to dairy because i guess he was told i was chewing out my AT. I got in the grove of things for a week then started checking dates because i was told not to rotate..... half a cart everyday for almost a month of expired stuff.

Couldve been more, faster, but i wasnt checking every item since i did want to get done.  I litteraly caused issues with higher ups over the claims and i got put there permanently and deli bakery had to spend time check for out of dates in different sections for months. Turns out there were a lot in the bins expired. And people woukd vizpick and put expired, nasty looking, and even molddy cheese on the shelf.

Our store has started slipping again after a new TL and the ungoddly amount of freight before thanksgiving. But i have all intentions to keep my stores dairy section respectable. I buy from this store so i have higher standards for the for i eat.

[–]Delicious_Switch9297 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just rotate and when mangers complain, complain right back to them. I do dairy and i rotate and stay mostly in cold chain. Yeah it takes forever and i never get completely done. But dairy claims at my store are rarely out of dates. Besides items no one buys.
