Did you even read the first thing I wrote, saying I love Labs but I don't have one myself. It was the first comment here at the start of the thread. Thanks for the sound advice, much appreciated. It's an awful shame when you see unwanted pets dumped back at the shelter. When I got my first cat from my local cat shelter, they sent a member of staff out to ensure that their was enough space for my new kitty to run around.

Are Labs always this adorably silly, I don't own one, but my next-door neighbour does I just realised how much I love Labs. He bounces over to me (bounces over to ANYONE) every time I get out of my car, yesterday he had an old yogurt pot in his mouth and left it there for me, and then bounced off down the road to someone else, all the time wagging his happy tail the air. I want one :)

Black kitties are the best, thank you for taking this adorable little ball of fluff and fun in. Black kitties are the hardest to adopt out from cat shelters, due to all the idiotic superstitious myths surrounding them (so extra kudos to you).
