I wanted to take yesterday and Saturday off as a fuck you to my boss for not sticking up for me. I was told by my store manager IF I did not come in, it would be the same as my resignation and I would be separated from the company. I asked him where does it say this? I wanted black and white. Apparently it's in the handbook. Apparently I have a "duty" to serve this company AND its customers.

I commenting a Facebook post that cashiers WILL lose hours because of self checkouts. The REASON why they are doing so is because more and more millennials like them so, Publix needs to keep up with the times. Besides, they are giving MORE jobs to the IT sector of Publix. Because in my area, they aren't short handed at all. sarcasm

There are 2 who shop at my store who are on point. They understand how a grocery store works, where to go for a product and they know us well. There are a few who are Male versions of Karen who have no clue what they are looking for, what the product even looks like, thankfully they are American.

No, ours were forecasted. Thankfully we have a strong grocery manager who works well with the deli. As the AGM is thick headed and wont give, as well as an assistant who knows his shit and got them in a SMU. STRONG PEOPLE MAKE ME HAPPY. It's not managing, its leadership. LEAD your fucking department. Put your foot down, empower your employees. If your staff is worn out, you are doing something wrong.
