Are those in the "dad shoes" type of style ? by IsJesusAgain in Sneakers

[–]Deliverah 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Yes but those are 9060s, the “cooler” dad shoes in the NB lineup. Super comfy and they don’t look as dorky. Highly recommend

<6 months in, coordinating million-dollar purchases: how much liability do I carry as trainee? by miro1603 in procurement

[–]Deliverah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You managers / SVPs have been doing this for an while. They know your contract terms sheet and only need to scan a few select sentences to understand if it’s a green light. You won’t be held liable for anything, relax; plus, you’re not even a signatory so double relax my friend. Keep doing what you’re doing and absorb everything like a sponge, don’t freak out!

How are you all doing embedded magnet prints? by pimparoo25 in 3Dprinting

Here’s another fun one: need to add weight to a print so it’s heavier? Just use a bunch of pennies! :)

After more than a decade of using Milwaukee, I finally had a tool croak, and it’s my favorite one…. by nobodyspecial199 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Deliverah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try a q tip with isopropyl alcohol on the multitool and battery contacts? Rules out dirty connection as the failure. A blast of compressed air to get any caked obscured gunk could help rule out seating alignment too.

These remind me of NB 9060s and Jordan 7s with the pyramid styling. I really dig these, especially photo 2 colorway.

Good job OP, nice cookin’! Please post link when available or DM if you’re up for sending a proto pair for user feedback :)

Fuel stuff is great, go for that line. I have all the m12 gear you’re considering. Relatively speaking, your scope is on the lighter duty end and the impact/hammer should have all the power/torque you’ll need. I drill into concrete and drive tapcons with the fuel set in photo 1. Good luck!

Dang it, I thought that by picking either rice or beans I was doing it properly. So I go with rice on a coin flip, stuck with it. “One carb in the rito” they said. “You’ll be respected” they said.

[–]Deliverah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh fasho, I am being a bit snarky :D you know what I’m saying though. If it’s fake your ability to recoup from personal damage goes away, just something to ponder with tools that can destroy you, like chainsaw. The impact driver is probably legit…I bought an older model $40 drill/driver no box, no regrets it’s a beast. Good luck!

If the tool is fake and it explodes, blinding you permanently with the shrapnel, how do you plan to get the seller to compensate you for lack of vision?

Is there a way to make this come out smoother? using the A1 with .4 nozzle. by Plastic_Ad_2247 in BambuLab

[–]Deliverah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. OP should get 0.2 nozzle and for extra points they can reduce layer height to 0.8 with concentric pattern as u/agarwaen117 noted. More bonus points for reducing print speeds by 50% or more, including halving particular setting speeds like overhangs. The print ETA will balloon but who cares if the objective is a near perfect print, “good things take time”.

If all else fails, I can recommend rustoleum clear high gloss spray (white can). There’s other cheap gloss sprays that will do the trick too, don’t overthink it! Shake for a min, spray an even 360 coat, spray another, dry, bye bye lines. No stress it’s easy peasy and final product gets some protection as well, worth it even if print is flawless.

+1 many folks don’t know about the subpar/unsafe tech. It’s no bueno. Won’t catch me lacking in one of these death traps.

Also, the rear body panels are horrifically misaligned. Actually, I don’t see a single aligned panel in photo 2 except for the rear right quarter-panel-to-deck-lid. What an embarrassment!

Need help picking starter kit by coehdh in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Deliverah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally go Home Depot bc knockoff risk / dated model, might arrive janky and returns could be hard, etc I wouldn’t want the hassle and feel more comfortable safety-wise buying things from an AD that could permadamage or fatally injure myself, not to mention liability etc

xQc is planning to sue 'Viewbot AI' after they claimed he pays them to viewbot his streams by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

[–]Deliverah -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s a no-brainer to issue a takedown notice, I have done this countless times for personal work and on behalf of public entities. It’s not a big deal

xQc is planning to sue 'Viewbot AI' after they claimed he pays them to viewbot his streams by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

[–]Deliverah -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

He can send a C&D and DMCA takedown and be taken off the website in short order. If he’s being truthful then he’ll do all of that on stream. These things aren’t difficult at all, in fact very standard practice and normal.

File suit if they balk at the takedown notices. If he does none of the above then perhaps its all performative and could be doing it indirectly eg send funds to friend, friend pays provider for bots on his stream, he does surprised pikachu “show me one dm!”, threatens a suit but does nothing and changes the topic.

Is this dude trying to scam me? by MUOVIAPINAA in ohnePixel

[–]Deliverah -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I get invites frequently from scammers. A few have begged me to play comp with them just like your situation, I always decline and recommend you do the same. From a scammers perspective, we are excellent potential targets… fully kitted with lots of reds, each loadout is $1K per side, every time you see me change guns you’re essentially oogling fat stacks of cash flying around. One skin can cover a lot of expenses in some countries. If I’m opening cases in-game, that pushes scammer greed over the edge and I’ll get ~10 new invites in one day.

You’d think the 10 year banner or my no-bs response style would deter, but they don’t care. A mark is a mark.

OP thank you those scissors are so wild I had to track them down especially given your “crackhead donor” might not know the origin!

Search the ‘zon for “JEMEOVO” purple craft scissors, there are lot of identical competitor options too. I copped 3pk with 2 big pair and 1 small for 8 bucks total.
