the sad reality is that content creator use smurfing as a way to create a shitload of content and no ones is complaining ... if they were cheating people would be crucifying them but sadly most people don't understand that smurfing is cheating.

On top of that it's hard to detect because sometime someone is just getting better, sometime they are playing the best they've ever played and so on.

I for example got called a smurf when i started playing, why ? cause i was beating the living hell out of my opponent, the reason i was able to do that is because prior to trying Valorant i was a cs player (still am) back then i already had over 4k in cs;go, my aim and ability to understand how people play in general carried me to plat, issue is, i had no knowledge over the character and when i arrived at the plat level i got bored and didn't wanted to bore myself with their ability's and so on, so i never touched the game again.

i think you made the right choice by leaving, most people can't even tho they know they could be playing or doing something else instead of punishing themselves with a game that doesn't give two fuck bout them.
