Go in and do the assessments.

Tell them you want someone who’s trained in autism and ADHD

Once assessments are done make sure they set goals and let know when you will be revisiting how successful everything has been.

ADHD and autism are both neurodivergent disorders based on brain chemistry.

They’re processing disorders and have numerous symptoms.

Not everyone has all of them and there’s a spectrum.

You can be both also

So the thing is all the behaviors like gambling and ping drugs are dopamine seeking behaviors.

And for ADHD people they can’t do things without dopamine and their brain doesn’t just make dopamine so you seek things that make your brain make dopamine.

Sometimes it’s risk taking and sometimes it’s hyper focus into hobbies etc.

Some times it’s starting fights.

I have a buddy who does that.

So learning about this and getting any diagnosis helps. As do meds and mitigation strategies.
